Deathrattle lesser artifact?
I'm not too far in the game and what looks like a recipie for this dropped off some skeleton in a cave. Apparently if I can find three items I can make this at the enchanter in Sparta.

First thing: Was I really lucky on a rare drop or does this always drop off the same monster?

Second thing: Does it take a long time before you can collect all the pieces?

Here is its wikia page:

Recipes are not that hard to get, especially lesser ones. There are also greater and divine recipes on higher difficulties. They are used to craft artifacts, they are equipable items and grant you bonuses just like any other piece of gear. Lesser artifacts usually requires you to get some relics, charms, and spells, while more advanced artifacts require other artifacts to craft. :)

Not sure about what the arcane recipes drop off of monster-wise, but there's usually one ingredient that takes awhile to get. In this instance, spectral matter, I believe, will not drop for quite some time, so store the recipe away.

Artifact recipes are rare random drops. If you've been picking up all the charm and relic pieces along the way, you shouldn't have too much trouble putting together the ones you need. The scroll ingredient is from a merchant.

Higher level artifacts have lesser artifacts as ingredients, so you really have to stockpile charms, relics, and lesser artifacts - or trade with other people.

Spectral Matter drops off incorporeal mobs - wraiths and such. There are plenty in Act II in the desert and tombs.

Whoah nice, thanks!

I'm guessing the artifact slot on the guy is the one at the bottom left hand? It's the only slot I haven't been able to equip anything on yet.

I just made my first ever artifact. I'm lvl 22 and finally had all the pieces to make one called Wraithguard. I have the recipes for Deathrattle and another one, but not all the ingredients. I assume Deathrattle drops early for everyone...it was the first recipe I saw.

I just found a greater today, and by the looks of it, it's going to take forever to gather all the ingredients. Specifically I have to have a certain lesser artifact which, of course, I don't have.
