Can't use 'Unlock Content' Feature
As title implies... I noticed this button and looked online and I wanted to try one and I type something in and I know it's typed right but it wont let me click okay or enter or what ever... I read online that these codes still work from the original to the Anniversary Edition...

So why won't it work? Do I need to beat the game first or something?

I own the original games and I actually never really noticed this botton there before; however even if I did I was younger at the time and didn't care...

There are only a few codes that still work. You can find them listed in a steam community guide for the game.

They give level 30 yellow set items that have little use beyond aesthetics (looking unique).

By the time you are level 30, literally anything you are wearing (assuming you've been picking up average gear along the way) will have better stats than these unlocked items.

These numbers worked as of yesterday,373624, 437626,925678,274267. BlazingMoon is right, they are not very good and you can't sell them.

If you enter a correct code you can click it but most of the numbers have been removed or no longer work.

There is a thread here on Steam discussions with all the codes that has gone through and struck out the ones that no longer work.
I wish the game had that feature found in Diablo 3, that allowed you to change the look of your armor based on the stuff you already found. I always prefer the look of the simpler armor. Some of the unique stuff is too "flashy" imo.

Also, would be neat to put some of the shinobi stuff to use. Mage shinobi lel.

Nice thing about terraria is there's an Armor slot and a vanity slot where you put whatever Armor you want to look like but no stats are applied. Stats only apply from the armor slots not the vanity slot.

TQ could have the same thing with another 1 and 2 button like there is for weapons.

Thanks for the responses guys :) Good to know some of those uniques will be useless. I'm assuming I wouldn't be even able to equip them until I'm level 30 anyways. I only just downloaded the game last night and started playing a new character.

I do have a quick question though... Why did they bother removing some of the codes? I mean if they're not really that useful anyways what was the point? I heard about the "Adult Content" code and that one being removed makes sense... More or less anyways depending on the audiance they're trying to reach.

The missing codes were for fanmade skin vendors. As the creators of those are not around anymore and the skins were unofficial to begin with, THQNordic couldn't include them. That's all.

skins? didnt they just give the item listed? im sure all of them are actual items that are in the game, achilles spear for example is 1 we can still find that

also, those codes have been disables a looooong time ago, i remember playing back in the day with the cd's and the codes not working back then either
