As for the other character? Thats tough for me to answer. I've never played one. However if I had to suggest something I would do STR / DEX for a while then, depending if he is using Dreams skills of magic (Distortion wave, etc) then some INT. It all really depends on your play style and what type of damage output you are looking for on that character. Electric burn for example, on one of the dream skills, I believe is elemental so would benefit from INT but I could be wrong.
I don't know yet where the break point for DEX is before getting diminishing returns in the AE, but in original TQ I would stop around 500 STR/300-400 DEX and pump the rest into HP. With Dream you can put some points into INT, but I think the mastery levels in it really give you all the INT you need. Again in the AE, I'm not sure how much INT influences key skills in Dream for a melee character.
