What build for using a spear
Hi all :)
As the title says, I would like to know if there is a class "combination" that use spear. I'm new to this game and don't have much experience with this type of game (I only own diablo 3). I'll start to play very soon with a friend of mine, so I don't mind if the class will be a little bit hard to play or in general understand the mechanics. I also don't mind if you won't post any build because as first run, I think is also beautiful to learn from mistakes, so I don't mind if my character will have some troubles :P
Thanks for your reply and sorry for my english :)

You want to go with a haruspex build (Hunter+Dream)
Here is a link to a build, I have not tested it but it seems to be worth a shot.

hunter + dream, hunter+ defence or defence + dream. All this 3 builds are very good with spears. Haruspex got highest dps. Defence + Dream for more survival.
Hunter + defence - in the middle

Hunter + Rogue is also neat and does the highest number damage, if I recall correctly.

I'm currently using Hunter + Defense, I just love it. Shield procs and spear procs on attacking are awesome.

Dream + Hunter might have a much better beggining than others.

I'd also not start with hunting anyway, and focus on Spear later only (so you could use always the best weapon available until lvl 30~40 when you'll finally spec on Spear build, for example).

Didn't do it this time, felt very lacking until I maximized defense and had shield procs for damage.

Yeah, I run Defence first, use weapons with lots of poison/fire/bleed until end of Normal, then worry about Hunting and getting a Spear so you can start wrecking stuff. There's so much stuff for fire/poison/bleed early it's almost hard to avoid it.

Yeah Hunter / Defense is a nice and thematic class. Pick a male for your classic "Spartan" hoplite or a female for some cool shield+spear moves.

And would dip at least bit into Hunting right away. Wood Lore is too good to ignore.
