TQDB: Titan Quest Database - All equipment and sets
Hi everybody,

Like most of you I used the several Titan Quest resources that were available to us over the years, from the offline CFM pages to gamebanshee's website, to the excel sheets with all the bosses and drop chances.

With the beta and the incredibly welcome changes to both gameplay and equipment, I wanted to setup an up-to-date database for all the equipment and set items, and eventually re-create the awesome titancalc.com system.

A long story short: http://www.tq-db.net

I just parsed the latest database (TQ Anniversary edition, Ragnarok DLC) and pushed that so everything should be as it is currently in-game.

A few notes on usage
The website has 4 main resources that contain all the info: 3 JSON files and 1 large spritesheet. Together these make up about 8MB of data (little bit less due to compression). These will only need to be loaded once (until you clear all your internet files). So your first load you'll probably notice not all the images show up until about 5-10 seconds later, but every time you visit the page after that it should be instantaneous.

I built the website so that you should have a VERY smooth user experience when you're switching between categories or searching for items, there are no page reloads at ALL.

Things missing/bugs/etc
In order to make it a bit easier for me to track bugs & feature requests, please use https://github.com/fonsleenaars/tqdb/issues.

Wrap up
Hope the database ends up being useful for some of you, I've enjoyed having it open on my other monitor or laptop/tablet as I play and think about what kind of gear I want :p

See you on the battlefield. Happy TQ-ing!

How's this http://puu.sh/yOXBR/71107f12c7.jpg

When you hover over the 'R' there's a little tooltip mouse cursor with a "Ragnarok DLC" text.

Pushing an update end of evening tonight.

The R looks visible enough so you can instantly see it is a Ragnarok item. That's good enough for me.

Hi, I have some feedback on the Set List that I wanted to share.

To start with, I really like the feature, and I use it frequently as a ctrl+f lookup table of sorts.

Thing is, I think there's a pretty easy way to expand the functionality of the list by a lot, especially for newbies.

If the list was sorted by level ranges first and then alphabetically within each level range, it would be a lot easier to use it for discovering items and item sets you want to use with your toon than it is right now. Pretty much any usecase where you don't already know the name of the set you're looking for is improved by this change, simply because you will always know the level of your toon. The only usecase I can think of that is impacted negatively, is one where you know the name of the set you're looking for, but not its level and you can't ctrl+f it for some reason. Personally, I think the tradeoff seems worth it.

So it would look something like this:

Level 1 - 10:
(list of all sets within range)
Level 11 - 20:
(list of all sets within range)
Level 21 - 30:
Etc.

I'll add an issue on GitHub for it, I can offer two options; regular alphabetical & by level range as you describe.

Because sets don't inherently have a level, I'll just take whatever the highest level number is of items within the set as the lowest level and add them to that range.

Nice suggestion!

Since you are busy with level range and alphabetical range, I think you should also add an attribute requirement range where you can select items based on the amount of STR, DEX or INT.

And with all items listed, we only need a sort of character generator where you can drag any item listed (as well as a custom item item to cover affixes) to a blank character sheet, and see all effects, where you can add masteries, skills, attributes and relics/charms/artifacts with completion bonus. But this is perhaps not something you want for your site.

The Trackmaster set shows only one item of the four.
Fonzy Dec 29, 2017 @ 1:29pm
Ah indeed, the logs are showing it couldn't locate the other items, I'll track down where it's going wrong. Thanks!

It's not indexing the other 4 items because the 'classification' property seems to be missing from them, the torso oddly enough has it. Without a classification, the parser doesn't know whether or not it should skip an item.

Looks like an unfinished set. Drops only on PrimRose. It's not the first one, Icescale doesn't drop anywhere...

I also just realized the bitmap for the torso armor refers to a .msh file instead of a .tex, which is why it doesn't have any image attached to it.

Still, it led me to a bunch of things to make the parser more robust so I'll call it a win!

Added SSL certificates and pushed a new update with fixes from the last week. Happy New Year everybody!

Happy (virtual) new year
Congratulations on all these efforts, and update the database
... a decade after the release of TQ !

***************************************

At that time, the Fr community had participated in filling out a database by sending out forms because we did not know how to handle all the information. In addition, we wanted to present the bonus lines of objects as they appear in the game (even the SortDBRData utility could not be exact). But the main interest was to describe the low and high forks of bonuses.
Example, if I take the first element of your database:
Armor > Head > Diadem of the Adept
+ 20% elemental damage
In fact, it's from +18 to + 22% because by default the margin is +/- 10%
(10% of 20% = 2% ...)
That's why in our form it was possible to enter 18: 22%

It's not complicated for the unique ...
So, my first request concerns AFFIXES.
Some of them have a greater tolerance of 15 or 20%
Would it be possible to display - when it exists - the value of the line:
lootRandomizerJitter

A concrete example
records \ item \ LootMagicalAffixes \ Prefix \ Default \ Rare_Stately_01.dbr
lootRandomizerJitter 110,000
Playing + 1% strength and dexterity is not the same thing as + 21% ^^

***************************************

Another request is surely longer and complex
do you plan to add a tab for Monster Infrequents?
PROPERTIES | LOOT TABLE | AFFIXES

Indeed, even if some loot are tiny, it would be interesting to know which prefixes and suffixes have a non-zero probability for each MI. This would allow to notice some custom quests abuse with for eg the absorption of life on the boots ...

***************************************

The last request (pity, Noel is in 11 months ^^)
Do you plan to put filters to be able to search?
Example, if I check attack speed, the first suffix that appears is of Alacrity with + 35% and the first head is Alexander's Plumed Helm

You say you've used Excel files, I guess you can see where I'm going ...
The "best of the best" would be to couple the two possibilities I just mentioned, so that for a targeted bonus, know the unique and MI with affixes suceptibles to give them to me (legit way). But I do not know your degree of involvement in this database, and if the purpose are advisory images or a sophisticated exhaustive tool ...

Hi Zog Zog,

Awesome suggestions. My answers are "yes" to almost all your questions & suggestions. It would be super useful for me if you took a look at the GitHub issue tracker and added what wasn't on there yet (github.com/fonsleenaars/tqdb/issues).

It's how I keep all the tasks organized and separate, so I don't lose track of them.

I'll be assigning mile stones to open issues soon, so I can start setting up some release dates for new updates as well.

So concrete answers:

Jitter - incoming (see https://github.com/fonsleenaars/tqdb/issues/11)
Sorting of properties - That would be awesome & super useful if you guys have it
Monster Infrequent loot tables have partially been added (just heroes at the moment), full loot tables to follow for them, yes!
Search on properties - Yes, once the data is ready, mainly because I might need to change the data structure to support all the languages TQ offers. After that's done, searching should be a simple & quick addition.

Happy New Year, maybe Christmas/Noel will be early in 2018 ;)

Hi, great site

But I can't find a way to filter to show items and equipment by dificulty level? to show only Normal, Epic or Legendary items and equipment.

is there a way to do it. if not, could you add those filters?

Btw, we can't find Epic and Legendary items in Normal dificulty mode, right?

is it possible to add a filter or grouping for the prefix and suffix?

for example according to the tier of a certain trait, like beastcaller > spiritcaller > invoker> ritualist > allfather

and also the parts that it can be applied, like above pet only apply to ring and amulet, pegasus/campaigning on boot, ceremonial on helm etc

it would be better to look for the desired item criteria, thanks.

If Blizzard ever release the chances for ancients and Primal ancient items you'll be surprized. 0.018% is acceptable compared to Diablo III.

From the website:
*A note on Loot Tables
The percentages might seem very low. I will expand on the information and functionality in the future. For now it will help to know that for chest loot, the chance listed is the chance of any ONE item that falls out, to be the item that is listed. Obviously boss chests drop a lot more than just one item. These numbers will still give you a good indication of what boss has the highest chance to give you the item you're looking for!
