Dual Wield worth it for any build?
In game it says it gives a chance for 10 damage while the patch notes say a chance for 10 damage on both hits. Regardless of the mechanic, is it really worth taking a skill that provides a chance for just 10 damage? Should this and other skills scale with level perhaps? Maybe add more damage with increased chance? 10 damage is great early game but becomes nothing later on. In my situation I started out as a posion Rogue and made an Assasin via the Warfare tree thinking I'd have a dual wielder but then after selecting the mastery I'm not so sure now. Currently level 10.

EDIT:
OK I am level 33 starting Act 4 and have progressed through much of the DW passives. Yes, they are worth it, especially with my dual green +30% attack speed "sabertooths".

Dual Wield + Onslaught
Onslaught passive has attack speed%
passive skill gives attack speed%
that 25% Dual Wield proc will occur a lot that way

invest enough points in health to survive
get enough strength to wear best armor
put rest in dexterity to increase Offensive Ability for high crit numbers

Combine it with Nature's Heart of Oak for extra health% bonus and survivability

you'll be golden and can put the rest of the skill points in a lot of utlity and "oh-♥♥♥♥" stuff.

Expect putting rest of your points to strenght will up your damage more than dex. You already do get weapon training for OA and hopefully some from gear (adroit loops are amazing) If you decide to go with rogue, calculated strike is not a bad option as a main attack for dual wielder now after they buffed it and nerfed onslaught.. I actually tested it and it deals more damage, although the ignore pain is also nice in onslaught. If you dual wield swords like any true assassin should, you will hit that 200% attack speed cap pretty easily even without onslaught.

I think I'm just "circle jerking" at this point... but as I understand it dual wield is a 30% (at level 10) to make an off-hand attack with increased damage.

Example: a level 40+ legendary axe may deal 174-182 damage~, you can 30% chance to make a hit with that which deals an extra 10? damage from dual wield.

E.g. (174-182+10?+)+Strength modifier+Physical modifiers+Dualwield+Enchantments or other things i forgot+Crit.

At least that is how I read it. :)

When duel weilding all non duel weild proc attacks are 50% main hand 50% off-hand.
Any duel weild proc hits with both weapons for full damage +any bonus damage from triggered skill. So on duel weild skill trigger you will do (main hand + offhand +10 damage)*(1+% damage modifiers) damage which can crit hit. BTW undefined damage in this game is always physical.

I might be wrong and the +10 damage from skill is per weapon but unlikely.

Sure would be nice if that was in the tool tip! That would be one heck of a tool tip though.
