Quick Pickup Key Question

I've assigned the Quick Pickup action to a keyboard button in options but it doesn't seem to be working right. I can pick up potions no problem but my character doesn't seem to want to pick up equipment. Does the Quick Pickup action only work for potions? I haven't run across any runes or charms yet so I've not tested those.

EDIT: Just had a rune drop, it does work for those. So far Quick Pickup only works on pots, gold and runes so I guess that's by design.

I believe in the old versions of the game there was a setting for that in options. Check carefully for that. See, the potions and so on tend to be always picked up, but the armor and weapons, those were level controlled (grey, green, etc). So check the options, and then remember there is a Z, C, and ALT key related to the levels. This should be in any of the TQ or IT manuals also. This is from memory. So also check your keybindings after you check the options.

Yeah, I played with the filter keys and it doesn't seem to work on any equipment of any level (broken, white, yellow, set) as far as I can tell. I can pick them up manually of course but why do that when there's a button that's supposed to do that for me. :)

Pretty sure that "new" feature only works for things like gold, potions, etc. , not actual equipment.

So "Quick Pickup" is just so you grab and go in battle ( like if you need a potion..but don't want to click all over the map for it in a fight. )
