Dude has been working on this for years, its basically diablo2 but the guy has added like 50 uber quests, added new mobs, etc etc. Its huge, trust me if you want a fix, play this.
well it's not diablo 2 because you get sun tan and the map doesn't rotate to give you the illusion a new map is being generated xD
The Correct order
1:Path of exile ( its free ! )
2:Diablo 2
3:Grim dawn and Titan Quest
4:Torchlight 1 and 2
5:Van helsing Final Cut
6:Victor Vran
7: Diablo 3

I hope i've helped you :steamhappy:

In order you should play:

1. Path of exile: Free, BEST ARpg after you learn it. It will be tough the game IS hard. But if you stick with it and learn the tricks you will not go to options 2 and 3.

2. Titan Quest: 5$/E, Game is OLD. Don't expect the graphis you see in new games. BUT except from that, the game is solid.

3. Diablo 3: 35$/E, If you still need something else after, D3 in its current state is very good and you can spend lots of hours with it.

It's a very easy decision:

Path of Exile has by far the most possibilities to build up your charcater, and you can de facto play it as normal single player. No need to contact other people. Try it out. It costs nothing.

Titan Quest if you like to play Diablo style and gather (grinding) stuff for your character. Also many possibilites to build up a char.

Diablo 3 has good grafics, but in the end it's only grinding and feels a bit "always the same".
Not that much possibilities of building a char.

Grim Dawn is like Titan Quest but more difficult in the end. And if you are about lvl 75 it's very hard to advance, (maxlvl is 85) You need the right gear, and it takes a very very long time to get it.

I played all 4 games
My favorites:
Nr 1. PoE
2. Titan Quest
3. Grim Dawn
4. Diablo

Have Fun

Stay away from d3 unless you completly new to the genre. play this then move on to Grim dawn and then Path of exile.

Definitely Titan Quest. Its a bit better than Diablo 2 and much better than Diablo 3. With Immortal Throne included Titan Quest has an about 30-35 hours long, detailed and enjoyable campaign, which is about 20-22 hours longer than Diablo 3's campaign. Oh, and others didn't mention, you may also give a try to Dungeon Siege 3 + Treasures of the Sun DLC combo.

I like ARPG games like this and i highly recommend you Diablo 2; TQ; PoE; Grim Dawn. Yeah, there is no D3 here :steammocking: Play only 2 last games if you can't play old games.

Titan Quest really pushed high end systems at it's release, so it's gtaphics actually hold up pretty well today even though the game is dated.
buy some wh.res and have fun ;)
