Invisible Mouse Cursor or Frozen Mouse Cursor Fix!
Solution to No Mouse Cursor (Pointer) on ultra HD (4K) Settings or with Windows Scaling Settings 150% and Above.
When I first started the game I could not see my Mouse Curcor, I could see the mouse Cursor but it was frozen on the screen, The menus would high light as if my mouse was over them but I could not see the Mouse Cursor. I was able to fix this Problem by Setting Windows Scaling BACK TO 100%. Now when the game starts I can see my Mouse cursor as I move it. Hope this Helps anyone with this same problem.
Also try a simple fix to correct this issue is to Run the game in compatibility mode.

To configure the compatibility mode for a game or application, just locate the installation directory where your ".exe" executable file is located and right click on the .exe that runs the game, than select Properties from the menu. Select the Compatibility tab: Check Run this program in compatibility mode for: You can choose to run the program in Windows XP compatibility mode. Click Apply then Ok.

In windows 10... go settings then select System. You should land on Display and there's a slider to change the size of text, apps and other items. Mines on 150% for my 28" 4k monitor. Change to 100%, Everything will be very small :) You need to log out and back into windows to apply or reboot. I haven't tested this fix yet but that answers your question on scaling.

I fixed the issue by goin into window mode. At first the game starts out in fullscreen, and It was good you can do ALT+Enter to get in windowed mode.

Tested the 100% scaling fix and full screen worked with mouse pointer back but its a pita. I'll just play windowed and hope for a patch. Can't see a borderless windowed mode option though /shrug

I have also the problem with the Mouse ( Frozen in fullscreen ) i have also 4k Screen 28" and my Win Scaling is 150%. With the windowed mode is working with no issue.
Also tried the compatibility mod with Win Xp Vista etc. not working. TH.exe is not responding.
any Help would be great !

Doesn't work for me. I can see the mouse cursor on the screen even @ 200% @ 150 @ 100% but the mouse does not move. I can click as I can skip the intro with a mouse click. Oh well its 1am time for this old man to get some shuteye.

That worked changing to 100% but what a pain in the a$$. Trying to type this is funny its so small. Also I had to totally log out of windows reboot to take effect.

I hope they come up with a fix.

I've got a surface pro 3 and was wondering what was up with my not being able to move the cursor. turns out my displaysetting slider was at 150%...maybe thats why? anyway, I could still change options in-game with touchscreen, but honestly a game like this doesn't lend itself to touch capacity. I have the touchpad and an arc touch mouse as well...if devs are monitoring this, let me know if I can help in some way.

I just put the game in windowed mode and it works fine. Gotta lower the resolution so I can see the whole screen, but it's playable and still looks swell.

It'll do until they maybe fix the full screen 4k rez problem.

My friend has the same issue, none of the fixes we could find would fix it for him but as a last ditch effort he tried running the game in safe mode and that fixed it for him. Sadly with a catch, parts of the interface are off the screen, but at least he can play the game.

If you play in windowed mode and lower the resolution, you can play AND see everything. It's not full screen or in 4k but, well, at least it's playable.

It would be nice to get an official fix for this. I use scaling because everything is tiny at 100%, and this fix quit working for me. I'll try restarting and see if it helps.

edit: after restarting and having scaling off, i could see the mouse again
