Anniversary Edition level cap
Has it been increased? If I recall well Immortal Throne max level cap was level 75.

Ragnarok pushes it to 85, only if you own the DLC.

Did I write "Ragnarok" in any part of my thread? No. :-) The question still remains - does Anniversary Edition increase the level cap Immortal Throne had?

AE has the same level cap as IT.

Something seems odd. I had a character that I made in Immortal Throne. He reached level 75, and I have used him to grind... a lot. When he got transferred in Anniversary Edition, the very first monster I slew gave him experience points which surpassed the level 75 threshold, and levelled him up to level 84. I have to see if the same thing will happen with other high level characters, I mean, if they can get past level 75.

Another odd thing is - I can see Ragnarök throwable weapons, but I can not purchase them. The Ragnarök files appear to be a part of my game, but when I attempt to buy them there is a red notification which reads "Ragnarök required". I guess some Ragnarök files were merged with Anniversary Edition, thus maybe the AE has level cap of 85 as well. I am talking about Gog version, by the way.

Maybe the new leveling curve and the level limit is available to everyone... yeah, it is odd.

It's possible that AE does raise level cap to 85 regardless of whether you have Ragnarok, then. I know at least that the level curve has been revised so the experience needed to hit 75 is a lot less.

And yes, Ragnarok only items will show up regardless of whether you own it or not, but you will not be able to pick them up without owning it. Persumably it's done so players can play together even if only some of them owns it.

Here[i.imgur.com] is the screenshot which shows I am able to see Ragnarök throwable items, but I am not allowed to buy them. And Machae Daemons use throwable weapons, but I can't pick them up. Not a fair feature. It's like I have in-game items which give an advantage to my enemies, but they are locked behind a paywall.

Multiplayer is not possible if both players do not own Ragnarök expansion. And if one player decides to downgrade, by uninstalling the Ragnarök so he can party up with a fellow player who doesn't own Ragnarök, he won't be able to use throwables, naturally.

Guess you'll just have to buy Ragnarok then.

Multiplayer is possible between AE/AE, AE/Ragnarök and Ragnarök/Ragnarök. RegalStar is correct, this is the reason you see Ragnarök items.

Really? Ok, so only first 4 acts, right?

I am asking, because whenever I saw someone hosting a game with Ragnarok expansion, it prevented me from joining it. Could it be because those people played Ragnarok acts?

Yes, the weapons are shown but red saying you need Ragnarok exp to use them. My guess would be it's a teaser to remind you there is more content. The whole game through... Kind of meh, devs but that's how it is. The same would probably apply if you're running MP. You need compatible versions for all players involved. Also there maybe closed party options when setting up the game. I don't play MP so idrk
