I can't post a specific build since I've not reached the endgame, but from my experience so far, I'd say that the elemental style which focuses on rune weapon is very powerful in normal and epic. You'll be a bit of a glass cannon but you'll gun down just about everyone with dual wield throwing weapons. This is because right up to legendary, the game supports a variety of epic and legendary throwing weapons that gives disproportionate amounts of elemental damage for when you get them. Unless you're very unlucky, you'll have an easy time. The dual wield line from warfare and the reckless passive from rune makes you a machine gun. You'll spec into intelligence with just enough str and dex to have throwing items.

Oh, and also, not sure if it's a bug or feature, but the dual throwing style's thunder strike seems to give a larger aoe than the single throwing weapon thunder strike. For melee, you'll still have a lot of damage, but going toe to toe in melee can be dangerous without the defense stuff you get from say hunting, dream or defense.

If you go the physical route and go onslaught, the damage scales more steadily, but you'll still have the damage. You'll have to lean a lot more on warfare since runes mastery tend to be very much focused on elemental damage. Unlike the elemental route, you do get to go with strength armor items which tend to have superior armor values because you're putting primarily into strength.
