yes i tried some guides in that site, but it did not work for me,
i play in multiplayer with a friend, is that the reason?
both of us can't access the room

Take a screenshot then use something like Paint to nagivate to My Documents\My Game\Titan Quest Immortal Throne\Screenshots. Load up the shot, edit it if you need/want to, save it and then upload it to something like Imgur.com. Then copy the BBC link to post the screenshot here.

If it is part of a DLC, how can there be a quest / questgiver in the base game (when there is no DLC-data existent) ?

No quest, just hidden area and some scrolls. People just see it and starting searching answers in the internet.
