legendary items

hello everybody, when legendary items start drop??? im at 51 in epic at the moment.....i've found FIVE time the same legendary (pink name)item...wondering...WHATT??i was playing TQ when i was a kid and remember i was farming legendary only at legendary difficulty....atm unlocking legendary require over 60+ hours......dont know if i wanna play that much...so im asking in epic how many leg items i can find?? there is no real answer googling it.thanks everyone

No real answer to be had; legendaries can drop on Epic difficulty and always have, but it's all down to RNG whether you get any or not.

ok, problem is, i've always found only THROWN legendary weapons.........i saw another topic on internet...from 2017....

did 130 times talos, got only 1 leg....always the same thrown weapon...something wrong with this game.....ok for the rarity of the items....but......ALWAYS the same???

Thrown weapons are way too abundant compared to other items in the game. Devs have been told and hopefully it'll be corrected one day.

no,i saw A LOT of topic with my same problem, is not RNG, is a bug, now i try to uninstall ragnarok...lets see what happens

They'll still drop, but you won't be able to pick them up.

im trying now farming fayum scorpos, lets see what happen.....i dont have so many time to waste...i really love the game but legendary farm is the core of the game.....if i cant do it im sorry but i have to uninstall it....i've already spent over 100 hours on it......

Yeah the drop rates are really abysmal by themselves, and Ragnarok only accentuates this even more by "polluting" the loot pool with throwing weapons. This isn't like Diablo 2, where you were guaranteed to find what you needed by trading with one of the hundreds of thousands of players...

In the end I gave up and installed the LootPlus mod. Is it cheating? Maybe. Do I care? I've played this game since even before IT existed and still have my vaults from back then with almost every Epic and Legendary, so no, I don't.

Well, you can trade with others, though TQ is mainly single player focused. So how you play it is up to you.

yes, i was playing the game when i was kid, there was only immortal throne expansion....and drop was fine.....i've farmed a lot to get my full tartarus epic set......but i remember item drop was ALWAYS different.....is fine for the rarity...i mean, is ok farm 150 times talos and get maybe 1/2 good items.....but not ALWAYS the same.....im so sad now....i throw 100 hours of my life.......now im still trying do manticore HOPING for ANY purple item.....problem is now.....i dont want to stay other 2 hours waiting for what????no idea......i dont really want to uninstall.......

the throw weapons are way to abundant i have found "Ra's Touch" 10 times now and other legendary weapons like "Dwarfbiter" at least 4 times.
Throw weapons make up about 1/3 of my found Legendaries, i stoped picking them up.

I think the drop rate is buggy because it happens alot that i find 2 times the same item pretty close after a while again. I have found 2 times Alexanders Bracers like that for example within 30 minutes.

...were meant to drop often, and in high rarities - so ppl would see all those twinkles in the cool colours and think again about buying Ragnarök to actually see and get them. A classical teaser.

...are pretty strictly bound to a certain area, where the level is just right for the specific item. So you'll almost automatically get more than one of the same weapon. BTW the stats differ quite a bit, especially in the higher item levels, so it's worthwhile to pick them up, compare, and sell the worse one.

...drop pretty often from simple to moderate chests - where next to no blue or purple came from in the pre-Ragnarök era. Some stuff did drop, bit more like 1, 2 or 3 blue pieces per difficulty - now we get a dozen throwing weapons from chests during a difficulty.

i am not great at explanations, but here goes.

First, why do you expect a Legendary item in Epic mode?
Most these items "Legendary" you get in Epic are not true "Legendary" items.
Check the level you can wear it at, forget about the colour or what it is called.

Back in the time of TQIT, when you would be in Legendary mode (well actually finished the game) by level 51, they were Legendary. But with TQAE, Ragnarok, Atlantis adding a large amount of levels to the game they can no longer be classed as such.
All the items have never been re-categorised, re-coloured etc.

The only really "true" legendaries are those added by later DLC's and they will not drop in Epic.

Throwing weapons see the post above, they were added by Ragnarok not only as a teaser but also they were/are the perfect weapon for the Rune Tree.

If you want true Legendaries then get into Legendary mode.
