Only getting throwing weapon purple drops since installing Ragnarok

I've finished Ragnarok on normal with a new character, and I'm not partway through act 2 of elite mode. So far I've gotten 9 purple drops and every single one is a throwing weapon. As far as blue drops go, about 75% of those are throwing weapons. No armor, no melee weapons, no jewelry, just throwing weapons. I've gone back and tried farming with older characters in every act with the same results.

Has anyone else noticed this? I think there must have been a loot table percentage change with Ragnarok as before this my purple drops were a diverse range of equipment types. At this point It's getting very hard to keep my character's gear viable as the only blue/purple drops I get are throwing weapons.

I'm having to exclusively use gear I got on other characters before installing Ragnarok expansion. After typing this I just got another legendary and it's yet another throwing knife.

Throwing weapons were added with the Ragnarok expansion and the devs seem to have made the drop rate for them a bit over the top.

Throwing weapons tend to have a really high drop rate and there's not generally not too huge of a collection of them you'll tend to see a lot of the same ones.

...let's just call these "promotional giveaways" - to entice people to (a) try them out, and (b) buy the DLCs if they haven't, thanks to all those blue and purple ungrabbable twinkles...
