Quality Bow drops
Does anyone see good bow drops in your game that are higher than level 3 ?? I've had no bow drops above 3 and I'm now at the Athenian Battleground in Act 2 and I'm at level 16 .

You might consider buying 1 from a vendor and putting a charm/relic in it. Then when you get to end of act 2, you can farm the Telkine for a blue one.
Required level for yellow/greens is determined by what fixes are applied to it so don't worry about level req for these type of items, it's not really associated with how good an item is. Instead check the item's base stats and how useful the fix is.

You could also check the vendor and see if they have a possible upgrade for you.

As above ignore what level it says you might want. Vendors sell some nice green bows Oak Hunting or Oak Raider bows with some decent affixes. I do not save much for lower level characters but If your lucky you might see a Brigands bow drop, they can drop as early as level 1.
Brigand's Bow
8 ~ 23 Damage
25% Pierce Ratio
Speed: Very Slow
+8 Dexterity
+20% Attack Speed
Required Dexterity: 70
Required Player Level: 1
Required Strength: 53

Higher levels, even level 3 can come with affixes, I have a Sanguine Brigands Bow. With a socketed charm/ relic its great.
Most of my best early bows come from the vendor, such as Biting Oak War Bow of Lightning.
Depends on the character and damage you want to do as well.

Thank you mate. I've not started farming yet. How do you know where a good place is to farm? Bless your heart.

Thank you mate. This is very helpful. I will keep this in mind as I learn the game mechanics. Bless your heart.

Thank you mate. Great information too. Is there a way to increase the bow range? Mine appears to keep the same range regardless what bow I use. Bless your heart.

Here is an act 2 farming guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7g9RKGPl7U

That covers the best places for rares/ blues in normal, purples in late epic and legendary.

For monster uniques it depends on what you need. In Act 3 those toad like archers can drop bramblewood (sp?)bows. Those are sought over for the reduce resistances on them.

To see list on monster uniques go here: https://tq-db.net/en

you can uncheck everything except MI's to just see those.

You cannot increase the range, no matter what bow you use.
The + %increase in projectile speed (part of Marksmanship skill) can be useful at high levels, as this determines the chance to hit a moving target.

Best bows in the game are all green, get something with life steal or attack speed and slap an artemis relic on it.

When you unlock atlantis you can find green bows with tinkerer suffix which lets you slap two relics instead of one. Attack speed is king for bows.

I had a smouldering bow with complete essence of Prometheus added which was awesome ( killed Alistor!) and a stormwind which was good and a stone bound I think but they all disappeared after killing the minotaur , and no they were not in the second weapon slot, they just went?
