General Remarks
- As you might or might not know, two identical items and still get the set bonus for them. This ofc is only relevant for rings and weapons, but can lead to some pretty nice effects, which I'll include in the respective set descriptions.
After pondering it a bit, I decided that I won't include a "Where to farm"-part in the set lists, as this can be easily retrieved from TQ-DB[www.tq-db.net] - just take a look at the right tab "Loot Table" in each item's item card.
Oracle's Garments (Lvl 10 - INT - HACL)
(+) The partial +6 Energy Regeneration 2-piece-bonus makes this set extremely valuable to early game casters.
Labyrinthine Warsuit (Lvl 10/11 - STR - HACLS)
(+) Solid set for early Warfare / melee chars, decent basic stats, meaningful bonus. +1 Warfare skills on the chest piece, offense-oriented.
Theban Panoply (Lvl 10 - STR - HACLS)
(+) Solid set for melee chars with a focus on the defense. extra armor protection %age is a great tanking help that early in the game.
Lazarus Armor (Lvl 21 - STR - HACL)
(+) Nice tanking set, doesn't have a weapon, so leaves that slot open for better options. Lightning retaliation is its main feature, providing for a great light show :D
Jade Jewellery - (Lvl 23/24 - NONE / INT [A] - ARN, RRN, ARR)
(+) IMHO a must-have for poison-focussed chars. Solid Elemental Resistance and +30% poison damage apiece, some more of each as set bonus. 'nuff said.
Pride of the Jade Palace (Lvl 24/25 - STR [DEX for the bow] - HACLW)
(+) Decent set buffs: +30 PierceRes, +25% AttackSpeed with 3/5, and decent base buffs on the items. +1 Hunter on the chest piece.
(o) The bow is pretty nice for a bow Brigand, but this has ofc lost some of its sparkle since the advent the thrown weapons.
Hector's Bronze Armor (Lvl 41-46 - STR - HWS
(+) Acceptable stats and relevant resistances, good in epic, but major focus on Res-gear in the open slots needed in Legendary. Damage is OK until Act 4 Legendary. Good DA and Health, some skills, aimed at Warden chars.
Thoth's Favor (Lvl 34(Ring) & 46(Chest) - STR - CR / RR)
(+) An unfortunately super-rare find, the ring-ring-variant is pretty awesome for midgame casters: +20%INT, +20% Energy, 25%EleRes per ring, plus 50% BleedRes and 50% VitRes as set bonus. The chestpiece, however, has +2RogueSkills, +10%OA&DA and 45%EleRes. Awesome for a Rogue Hybrid. No 3-piece-bonus, unfortunately...
Might of Hephaestos (Lvl 42-49 - STR - WSR / WRR / SRR)
(+) Weapon and shield are up to EqLvl par in their base damage, and have a truckload of direct fire/burn damage, and a fat +%age buff. The rings have even more of that. 30%/50% Pierce Res as set bonus is OK, too. +1Earth&DefenseSkills on the weapon, -20%Requirements on the shield and anothe +1EarthSkills. Health and health regen to round it off - sweet stuff for Earth Hybrids. Wearing 2 Rings only can be a great boon for all Earth builds, but ofc you'll have to get your resistances elsewhere. But that's doable...
Patroclus' Disguise (... of Achilles) (Lvl 42-47 - STR - CWS)
(+) +500ish OA, 250-200 DA, fat +PhysDng. Chest gives +1 Warfare skill, but IMHO it's better suited for any other Defense combo, thanks to all that OA. Spear and Shield are up to par in Legendary.
(-) no resistances. But as it's a three-piece set which only uses the Chestpiece slot, this can well be managed. Full Set bonus gives 25% EleRes, in addition to the +25% Health two-piece bonus - which isn't really that great...
Donar's Might [R] (Lvl 52-63 - STR - ACW / AWW / CWW)
(+) Mjölnir. Also Mjölnir. A+C have +200 DA and high armor rating. Chest spawns a Storm mastery Wisp after a bit, and when you're playing Storm, those dual Wisps are really sweet. And if you play Rune + Lighning, it's the to-go-thing IMHO. Several nice & high resistances on the individual pieces. Also, awesome light show.
(-) The set boni are plain meh.
Freya's Panoply [R] Lvl 52-66 - INT - HACLN)
(+) Awesome endgame set for casters. The individual items are all on par with other eqLvl stuff, and the amulet is plain awesome: -25% Recharge, +2 AllSkills. The full set provides most resistances you need. +% Increased XP set bunos makes for nice endgame leveling. +AttSpeed & +CastSpeed are sweet, too.
Guise of the Horned God
Aquanaut
Poseidon
Adept's / Archmage's Leggings
(+) -INTrequirements can make those nice problem solvers
Adept's / Archmage's Leggings
(+) -Recharge, 'nuff said
Only 2 pieces:
For torso
-15% Recharge
20% Elemental Resistance
-15% Reduction to all Requirements
+40% Energy Regeneration
Clasp
-18% Recharge
-20% Intelligence Requirement for Armor
+20% Energy Regeneration
-20% Intelligence Requirement for all Weapons
2 out of 2 set items:
+20% Intelligence
+20% Casting Speed
Excellent for casters, all that -recharge ,reduction to requirements etc in just 2 pieces.
Another 2 piece set
The Frail - Clasp
51 Armor
30.0 Reduced Resistances for 3.0 Seconds
+18 Intelligence
+25% Energy Regeneration
The Fragile - Ring
60.0 Reduced Physical Damage for 3.0 Seconds
+18 Intelligence
+25% Energy Regeneration
2 out of 2 set items:
20.0 Reduced Physical Damage for 3.0 Seconds
20.0 Reduced Resistances for 3.0 Seconds
+25% Energy Regeneration
Amazing set to get so early, giving so much "absolute" reduced resistances. Meaning any weapons such as "of the Betrayer" which gives percentage based reductions will stack.
I am usually not one for wearing sets or playing Nature builds, but if I drop one more piece of this set, I definitely will.
Not only does it look the part but there is not 1 erroneous or unwanted affix on this set.
Too much to list here, but you will have +4 skills to Nature,+2 Call of the Wild, added health and regen both health and energy. A decent amount of elemental resists and 100% Stun resist.
For a Dex based set a decent armour rating of 238 for Epic.
Guise of the Horned God.(DEX 186,INT 504,LVL 52 - Drops in Legendary)
In looks it seems a little mweh, but there are only 4 items:
Helm,Harness,Torc and Spear. Leaves a lot of slots open to improve the look and/or add to your character or your pets.
The weapon pet bonus alone gives 20% Total Damage and 20% Adcth.
Someone stated to me not long ago that there was plenty of gear that gives +skills to Nature.
What 4 items will give:
+6 Nature
+4 Rune
100% bleed resistance
150% poison resistance
95% elemental resistance
40% vitality
plus a few other affixes and pet bonuses.
and remember still 5 slots not filled yet (not including artifact)
Are the items etc I have posted the sort of thing you wanted to see? If not I will alter what I do.
Nice to see something like this for everyone, noobies to veterans, even veterans have not seen all sets.
Do keep up the comments and suggestions, I'll come back to them. Just right now, I'm lacking the time.
