ACT 5 Question - When does Donar come in and help you during the game exactly?

Wodan mentions he will send Donar to help "when possible" when Bifrost first opens. After completing the game and you talk to Donar, he says "Good to see you again!" I never seen Donar once until the very end of the game and apparently according to Wodan he was supposed to help me at some point?

Did my game bug out or is there a certain sequence where Donar comes into your game screen and possibly helps you kill something? It's bugging the crap out of me.

Donar doesn't help you directly by fighting with you.
Maybe he "helps you indirectly by keeping of some higher magic stuff from you" but well, the devs probably just forgot it or were too lazy to animate some combat movements for him.

I found out it was completely cut from the game and at one point Donar does help with you in-game. Hoping the devs re-implement the sequence. They forgot to erase the lines from Wodan and Donar unfortunately. Who knows. Can only hope at this point :(

I believe thats something that was cut in the last stages of development but hasnt been cut from dialogue. Searching the files, I also found "Lokis Blessing", which has also been cut. It makes sense, since when u talk to Loki after fighting the Gods, Loki supposedly gives you something. turns out, this blessing was something like -50% run speed, -25% attack speed, -50% cast speed and -70% TOTAL damage. It was insane! :D I guess thats why Donar was supposed to help, but since both of those were scrapped I guess thats why the dialogue feels off. I wish they kept that in tbh, sounds like a cool concept :D

Kill Loki until he drops Loki's Wand. Take it to Scandia, use it to turn the king back to normal. Ylva will now join you as a follower. Just talk to her in Scandia to have her join as a pet. If she dies then you have to exit and restart and get her again. Ylva is very strong through, excellent at tanking and has rally.

Old discussion. But I had Donar join me on the Rainbow Bridge (after Heimdall blow the horn) today. Only happened in this one game so far! I was incredibly surprised! Never before had I had Donar join me and I also do not know what exactly made him appear.

So it's definitely not cut out of the game. Donar is there and he will have a quest mark before joining. But how do I make him appear? no idea. Will make a screenshot should it happen again!

It is cut from the game. He just chills there on the Bifrost, but there is no way to get him to follow you. The Ylva thing is 100% correct though.
