Question about Spartans Lost Side Quest (Spoilers!!)

I just defeated Alastor, and have the opportunity to go to the second act of the game. But before I do, I have one side quest that I have not completed yet. This quest is called "Spartans Lost", and I really am not sure where to go to complete it. Can someone shed a bit of light on this? Thanks so much!

Cross the bridge after defeating the large Life Stealer and where you got the quest from. Go forward and right a little, you will be in the swamp. Go to the end on the left hand side and there they are.

Also, don't forget to report back to that Spartan officer near that giant Limos. That's what finally resolves the quest after you saved those poor erring souls...

Nearest portal is Athens and then run backwards until you're just past the Athenian Battlegrounds area. A bit further back you'll find the ruin with the giant Limos in it and the guy who gave you the quest. Go back over the bridge you crossed to get there and then angle right to reach the swamp, then hug the top of the swamp until you find the NPCs. Return back to the guy who gave you the quest to complete it.

Ok, I have left Athens, I got to the soldier who gave me this quest and have turned south to the bridge. I am now just north of of the other side of the bridge, but have not gone back as far as the natural cave there. I am trying to hug the sides of that marshy area, but the water is too deep to trek through. I am not clear on where to go from here. I am sorry for not completely understanding what you guys are explaining to me.

No, go back over the bridge you took from Athens to reach the NPC. Then stay right and a little further back towards Athens you'll find the swamp. You've gone south when you shouldn't have.
