TQ Vault Organization
How do you organize your TQ Vault collection? I have it all crammed into one vault file right now (12 bags) but it's getting tight so I think it's time for a major re-organization. Do you separate items by level? Type? Some other crazy scheme?

I suppose similar question could apply for those of you using mules: how do you divide things up?

Help a hoarder out.

You can basically create unlimited vaults, so make use of that :) Just create vaults for all the different item types. Relics, charms, artifacts (Lesser, Greater and Divine), sets, blues and purples, darker greens, etc. Do it however you want.

TQ Vault is awesome! It's something the game should have by default!

Segregating out relics, charms, scrolls, artifacts, etc. seems pretty straightforward. But with items, I like to say "my PC just got to level 30, what should I swap out?" So I'm wary of having to check a greens vault + a blues vault + a purple vault + a sets vault. Sets makes sense as maybe it's own thing. I tried having one page of weapons+armor (non-sets) in one bag for 10 levels, but level 30-39, for example, fills up.

Agreed, TQ Vault is a thing of beauty.

I organize them by:
Rare Armor&Weapon(Legendary)
Rare Jewelry
MI Armor(Legendary)
MI Weapon(Legendary)
Epic Armor
Epic Weapon
Epic Jewelry
Legendary Armor
Legendary Weapon
Legendary Jewelry
Relic
Charm
Artifact
Formula

For Rare and MI I also make seperate vault between each difficulty, for relic, charm, artifact, formula I set the first page for normal, epic on second page, and third page the legendary for each vault

This. I must have close to 100 different vaults now with names like Blue Melee Weapons, Normal Relics & Charms, Epic & Legendary Relics & Charms, Exalted Magic Armour, Gigantes Items, etc. They're not all full needless to say, especially since use the XL version of Vault. Need to go through them all and consolidate, but then think of all the time it would take when I could be playing TQ.

Thanks folks, that at least gives me some context and ideas! I keep thinking I'm only keeping stuff I might actually use but then it's like "oh, I could do some strange thing with that item, better hold on to it" and, yeah...

Yes, that's what the Vault is good for. I decided a while back to run a crazy Spellbinder using only Radiant/Shining/Dazzling/Lustrous armor which was at the time great for demons and undead. So collected some gear in a specially titled Vault and then went to town when I thought I had enough. Did great against demons/undead and sucked pretty much against everything else, but I got to the end of the game with it.

Doing similar with an Oracle using some Plato/Socrates/Aristotle/Diogenes and Spellweaver/Sorcerer/Archmage staves for lots and LOTS of intelligence. Will it work? I don't know, but I'm going to have fun trying. :steamhappy:
