How should I launch this game?

I didn't expect to have 5 different options. The Mod Tools one is obviously not it. So I have regular, DirectX 9, and Win10 Safe Mode. Also one called "Titan Quest Anniversary Edition Launcher," . . . I thought I was in the launcher, with all these options, but okay.

Anyone know what the difference is between these and which I should choose?

If you're running Win 10 you should probably use the Win 10 safe mode one. Win 10 doesn't always work with TQ so I think they put that one in to help fix that problem.

Otherwise I'd go with the launcher.

Alright. I'll give that a try. What does the Launcher do that's different from the other 4 options?

Ok, now it's asking Enhanced or Legacy, and both options open it up windowed instead of full screen. Opening a game shouldn't be this complicated. *groans*

Funny, win 10 safe mode starts launcher, so I tried enhanced..game launched, where is mouse cursor? :D Im running this game normal, in win 10 I have not any problems running this game. Except sometimes some graphic crash and caravan problems which started after week of playing.

Enhanced = DX11 version, Legacy = DX9. If you're running into problems with the DX11 version, try the DX9 one.

well, the most critical issue right now is that I lost full stash tab of relics

I just opened it in Legacy, then used Options to set it to my monitor's resolution and fullscreen. Worked like a charm. Enhanced sounds terrible. But I'm curious, since you can actually go in and set the resolution, why is weird stretching even an issue? Shouldn't that fix it?

It didn't run for me in Windows 10 until I enabled "Windows 7 compatibility mode" in the game's executable file settings.
