Nibald and fir cone liquor

In Scandia, Nibald asks me to provide him with fir cone liquor before he'll take me on his ship. No idea where to get that, and a while afterwards, the king (Gylfi) instructs me to just go to Nibald and tell him to sail. If I do, Nibald obliges, if reluctantly.
My question: is there a way to find any fir cone liquor? If so, how?

Hmm, if I understand Chinese, Gene.po doesn't know either :)
The thing is, if you "complete" the quest simply by following Gylfi's instructions, you get no reward, so that leads me to suspect that you could actually find this mysterious fir cone stuff somewhere.
Any suggestions?

there's no liquor. the side quest completes itself after he takes you to kaupangr
