Saved games files - where do they go?

Hi all, my PC suddenly rebooted for some reason while i was playing TQ, i had just beaten the grey sisters and was in lvl 71, but when restarting the game, i was put back to lvl 70 and back to act 3! quite annoying as i had farmed Hydra 20 odd times and found some nice stuff.

I have the Player.CHR file from the titan quest folder, question is, how do i get the game to read it? - in which folder should it be pasted - if that is so simple?

Hi, TQ saves are in C:\Users\[USER NAME]\Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne. The SaveData folder has a Main folder for characters that you are playing TQ main game with. Inside Main there are folders for each character.

Your issue is probably caused by Steam Cloud. It does not work well with TQ and there seems to be a new issue causing issue recently. You should disable Steam Cloud at least for TQ and keep backups..

Or rather, when i have my saved files, in which file in the steam folder should i place them?

Nowhere in the Steam folder. The game looks only at the directory chris mentioned.
