[Suggestion] Bigger Storage/Transfer Space
Problably everyone that keep playing this game after normal, sooner or later, will be forced to create a new character just to store items/relics/things. Now, I have 2 lootbag characters, but I don't really like to keep doing this.

I think TQ should have a bigger storage natively. More pages on the storage npc, with more options to expand this storage. It could make money more important mid-late game.

The same with the transfer area, it's just too small if you have a good number of hours. Everytime I want to start a new character to test a new build, I need to get in/out of the game multiple times to transfer those things.

I don't see a real good motive about game design to keep storage/transfer at this size. If you do, please, convince me.

This game is amazing, but the "get in/out" with many characters is getting me out of the roleplay, it's breaking my experience.

I somewhat sympathize but where would it end though? When is "enough" storage? There has to be SOME sort of limitations on the player.

Search for and try the program called TQVault, you'll love it! :D

Isn't there issues getting that to play nice with Anniversary?

If you have finished the game you are three storages adds the inventory for your characters. You have the first with Timon at Megare, the second at Knossos by Cyrus after have defeated Megalesios the Greece Telkine (Spoil) and the third after kill the chimera in the Marduk temple (Spoil) in Orient. That's Feiyan, the woman you meet in the gorgon cavern, wich give it to you.
The caravaneer is another possibility to collect relics and charms and items, but it very expensive to increase it (100 000 and 500 000 gold pieces)

I totally agree, there's must be a point of balance to make players avoid pharaonic collections. I cannot determine this, just give a suggestion (about 1-3 more pages, seriously considering that TQ replayability relies on new characters with new builds and new items farmed by the previous one), but the thing I'm pretty sure about is that this current space is far less than enough.

Don't see a reason why we cannot have it natively, without mods. Maybe, and I don't really understand about this, just a shot, but we could have problems with the online synchronization/uploads. It's the only limit or bottleneck I can see.

Yeah, I finished this game many times, and many times I had to create new characters just to use as lootbags. Even with de 500.000 upgrade, the storage is just too tiny, even if you don't hold any trash.

I got back to TQ-AE after a feel years, took my first char to legend a feel days ago. I have two build tests and one coop char, and the space is full of purples/blues/charms/relics I gonna need. Had to create named lootbags just to manage items, and never get out of Helos. This problem is persistent if you are considering replaying the game.

the only issue I have is when I try to move equipment worn by a character, otherwise this one works perfectly:

ooo Nice.

I think that the (single) character storage (caravan space + character peronal space + bags) is big enough. There must be some limitation and I think here is the limitation quite high. But what SHOULD be taken in consideration, is the (relatively) small space in the "transfer" area. Getting a bigger space in there would be a great improvement for a (probably) small price.

Btw. the best way how to get quickly a mule character with a full caravan space (600 000 gold needed) is to work with rings/amulets. Let your best character buy a lot of them (buy rings/amulets in the 150000-300000 price value, the Act 4 Epic is probably the best place to get those) and transfer them to your selected mule. Full expansion of the mule inventory requires about 60 rings, so it would cost you about 12 000 000 - 14 000 000 gold. If you have a later Epic or even Legendary character then the gold should be no problem.

I know that there are two or three mods to do that, but I'm asking, why can't we have it in vanilla? I'm sure inventory managerment still the most frustrating thing in the game, after 10 years.

Besides that, it could save a lot of problems that mods are causing these days. TQ vault broke after some patches and ppl are complaning.

Hope devs take a look and think about it.

That's faulty logic. Making expanded storage vanilla to fix things TQVault breaks is rendered moot when TQVault is not mandatory. If TQVault breaks something you like, then don't use TQVault.

Fact is expanded vanilla storage clearly hasn't been a big enough issue. For anyone saying anything, think of all the people who haven't.

TQvault is not a mod. it is a standalone program. you can play without mods and still use TQvault.
and the only time I know of TQvault breaking was when we got from TQIT to TQAE. unless the devs plan to do such massive overhauls regularly, it should be fine for a long while.

You got me wrong. I don't want a fix on patches for TQVault to work, I want the devs to expand the vanilla storage thenselves, so everyone can have it without mods and at low risk of bug/losing items.

I'm pretty sure that many people have this same vision. I just lost 1,5h organizing my treasure.

I know what you want. And "many" is a meaningless word.

In all the time this game has been around, expanding storage at the base game level clearly hasn't been a big thing, or we'd have it. This game came out in 2006 and was supported by its original developers for a while until they left the scene. It's more than good enough Nordic keeps it stable and keeps after bugs. It's past the point of making broad changes at a fundemental level. I know they are working on adapting the game to native controller support for folks who play on their TV in their living rooms, but that's a convenience thing, not a fundemental change.

"Many" mean that all my friends and ppl I played with have the same complaint.

You're right, it's a convenience thing, not a fundamental one. But we can have convenience changes, just because there's no good reason to keep storage/transfering like that. It only exist this size to make you lose time or throw things away.

I keep items for me, I drop items that I want to test or that are good for my friend's character, etc. Relics,Charms and artifacts take a hell loot of space, and I had to create a character just to store those.

My point stand still, it's a pretty tight limitation and we don't have good reasons to don't make a change.
