indeed that program is/was called TQDefiler and that piece of software still works with latest patch by the way
do not confuse "skills" and "stats"
skills are you magic procs and various buffs/debuffs. you can easily respec them in the game with the help of npc - with a little money he can remove/add few points to various skills. there is one exception - you cannot respec those skills that boost your stats
stats are strength, dexterity, intelligence, health and mana - and you cannot respec them in game without any extra mods. TQDefiler does still work for that type of work
I was just wondering about respec in general, i did ask because in the past i had an issue with 3rd party tools and this game, maybe i did a mistake while editing stuff but still i had basically to delete the character and create a new one after many hours of playing. So i'm considering playing it again without using external tools and wanted to know about default respec if any.
Didn't know you can't re-spec mastery skill points...thanks for info. I knew you could re-spec skill points through NPCs called mystics (I think thats what they're called), had no idea about not being able to with mastery skill points.
Wish the game was clearer about this, glad I found out before really building out my character.
By the way you can re-spec some skill points in game, with a NPC in some towns, but if you invest points in your Mastery, that points canont be claimed, you only can recover points of skills that you invested.
