My other char is a melee Thane at lvl 10, but because I can only take on enemy at a time its also some kind of boring.
What do you prefer to play? And what build would you recommend for a beginner, which is fun and satisfying to play early on?
I dont know what my personal taste is yet^^ I would just like to have some variety in gameplay with not only normal attacks, I think
To be fair, you haven't played them very far... anything with Warfare (even Thane) can become able to attack multiple ennemies at once. As for caster Diviner... I never tried it so I can't really tell. But yeah you barely started the game so it might be a bit boring to not have awesome skills to begin with.
My favorite class is Hunting and Nature, but I guess it isn't something everyone would like. If you want to deal lots of damage early on, Earth and Dream are good for that. If you want to have a rather tanky toon, go for Nature and/or Defense. If you want to deal lots of melee damage, Rogue and Warfare are good for that. If you want to play a caster, you will like Spirit.
Among the easy classe, there is the Conqueror (Warfare + Defense) wich has an equally good defense and offense, Brigand (Hunting + Rogue) is one of the best damage dealers around... check out some builds on Steam to get more suggestions.
For the OP, I would suggest maybe a prophet (Storm/Dream), that should gives you plenty of spell (and basic attacks will be a rarity, though you will obviously still ahve to do some at the start) My current prophet at the startish of epic difficulty, using thunderball, lightning strike, Distort Reality and spell breaker, and even a nightmare pet as well to distract the enemy, and using the trance of convalense(probably misspelled that...) as well. It might not be super easy all the time, you ahve to take care not to get hit too much, but tbh most of the "easy builds" will have a reliance on basic attacks in most cases, but I have had a lot of fun with this
