it IS droppable in act V but you cant get it from surtr himself as he is not dropping epic-legendary items as rewards at this current state of the game (is bugged)

I can't say whether he is bugged dropping that particular sword, but he is definitely not bugged with all legendaries. I have gotten several legendaries off of him in the last few days

I used to get that sword from Dualwield Giant Fire Warriors at the place before fight Surtr.

I have killed Surtr in legendary more than 50times, never ever had an epic or legendary drop from his orb.. But if u say u got drops then i suppose im wrong on this one. Damn rng..

Yeah rng can be a real ♥♥♥♥♥, but it's definitely not bugged. Over 50 times on legendary diff. without a single blue or purp is some unbelievably bad luck though. I can see why you thought it was borked lol. Good luck on future runs

Yes, this big firesword will be drop, but not during the final battle against Surt. It was dropped before and it is a really good fire sword and very large. Ideal for my Pyromant - Earth mastery.
