Farming Ramses Gear

Anyone ever farm for Ramses set and know of good drop areas, besides the Telkine Orb?

Besides the Telkine, Sandqueen Masika is probably your best bet, but I find the Telkine much easier to farm. The Valley of the Kings tombs are probably the safest route (Mummies have the pieces equipped sometimes, and there are several Majestic Chests), but it will take a long time to farm the entire set.

Either way, the set become quite useless late Act 3. I just tell you this to prevent any frustration of wasting time

I see what you are saying about the Telkiine I put on my boots of travel and run straight to him. I will see how many times I can kill him before my attention span bottoms out. Thanks for tip on the late Act 3 gear. I will probably just give it a few tries. I just need a chest piece and already have 2 of the Ramses other pieces.

It is generally advised to farm entire acts in one go... This is almost impossible, though, because it needs lots of time and even more patience. Even a humble bone pile can drop blues, or greater artifact recipes, even white named mobs!

Well, i got only 2 pieces of Ramses, the weapon and gloves. Neither was dropped from a "hot-spot" that "farmers" regularly advise. I believe you have to be in act 2 Normal. Some people suggest the Fayum Oasis scorpos boss, which has 2 majestic chests together... But even in epic, the items dropped there, at least for me, are horrible.

Best thing is to go to the Valley of Kings and destroy the entire area, with all 8 tombs together, in one go. Then, rinse and repeat. This way i found a great blue amulet (Electrum Charm), which got me very far into the game.

Best farming spots seem to be the Act 3 Telkine, Hades and the Secret Passage, though. Especially the last 2, earned me such great items, that i reached act 2 epic without changing any of those.

That's good info thank you. So what I have done is: I tried clearing the whole valley over and over...took to long, tried clearing a few hot spots where mob bosses show up who drop Ramses gear over and over...took to long, so now I am trying to quick hit one hot spot over and over praying for the drop..lol. I did get the greaves so now I have 3 pieces. Probably call it good. Thanks again everyone.

I would recommend at least farming the weapon of the set, Ramses' Scepter. This weapon has +150% Damage to Undead and can be super helpful against Undead Typhon in Act 4, in addition to clearing any areas with lots of Undead.

Really useless in act 3? What about machae and many more demon units in game and mainly that bull boss also demon.

Ramses body armour / ramses coat including 50% less dmg from demons i can "dance" with machae if i have ramses coat ...

So I recommend to have coat soo nice armour and also only 2 pieces of set give nice extra bonus :

10.0% Chance of 1.0 ~ 3.0 second(s) of Stun
17% Pierce Resistance
17% Poison Resistance
