Anniversary Edition or Titan Quest/Immortal Throne...?
If I have purchased the original Titan Quest and the sequel - Immortal Throne - is there a point to getting the Anniversary Edition too?

That's a yes & no question.

Yes: Game's been cleaned up, bugs killed, monsters added, Steam achievements and it's needed if you want to play the DLC Ragnarok.

No: You plan on only playing through the game on Normal, don't care about the DLC, the copies you have are clean and bug free (mine were) and don't feel like putting up with any new bugs that have popped up in the AE / Ragnarok, don't feel like spending the money.

If you're really on the fence, list it in your wish list and wait til you get a note saying it's on sale; like it is now as a bundle with the DLC for $9.99.

If you still have any characters in TQ / TQ:IT you can transfer them to AE so you wouldn't have to start over from scratch.

Well, I do have the Anniversary Edition along with the other two (when I bought them, I didn't do proper research and thought the three were all seperate games). But I can't seem to make a character with the Anniversary Edition. I read the post about virus software and did what it said, but still am having the same problem.

Then check whether other programs or even Windows 10 itself block the game's access to your documents folder (something along the lines of "ransomware protection")

Isn't there something about not being able to have all the games active at once as they share the same folders?

Can you make a character on the original TQ? If so just import it.
