LF a way to start from legendary

I'm an old school player with lots of characters from a long time ago, and I wanted to start these new DLCs playing only the legendary level. I'm familiar with the defiler/vault mods, but I noticed that now the quests when you finish a playthrough give you a passive ability as a reward(other than the usual skill/attribute points), i.e. petscaling_legendary, which makes it not possible to use the defiler and edit a character to start in the beginning of legendary as in old times.

Does anyone know a solution or have a legit save-game of a character that played all quests after atlantis and is in the start of the legendary?

Can't really do that nor would you want to. The difficulty levels in this game are more like new game pluses. Far as I remember epic difficulty the mobs start at level 35 so a level 1 character would never survive.

You missed the question... I am a TQ IT player, with almost 1000 hours in the game, and a bunch of passive skills were added in the AE. What ZenDer is asking is a way to start at Legendary WITH THE CORRECT LEVEL, just like accomplished hero, but in other parts.

It's really stupid and lazy developing to throw away more than 10 characters with 60+ lvl in IT edition, because you miss those perks

I understood the question fine and and the answer unfortunately is still no. A saved game could work obviously but there is nothing to my knowledge that lets you start the game at a particular level with everything. The game was designed to be played each difficulty level after the other as new game plus mode so to speak. It is not stupid or lazy since after acquiring the game franchise they did not have to do a thing with it could have just swept it under the rug but instead came out with the AE version and 2 DLC expansions. Now I get you have pre AE characters but that is life with doing something like this with the game. To many changes between the Gold edition and the AE to carry over a character anyways in my opinion. I know it may not be the answer wanted but there is a speed option there to speed up leveling a character. I got mine on fast and blew through 21 levels in a few hours did not take long really and you can increase it faster even.

I agree the new developer could have swept it under the rug, but they also charged for new content, it was not free to get the DLC. I'm satisfied with the new developers and the game getting attention again, it's probably the game I played the most (playing since 2007). But as everything, it's not perfect and I think it's a valid critic. I think they could make some changes for the veterans. I understand you can speedrun the game and it is fairly easy, but hours in normal and epic is really boring after some runs. I understand your point and the view for the developers to not change this, but I don't agree with this, I feel "forgotten", I mean, this game has a fairly loyal fanbase since 2007 and the game was still active before the new developer take over It had fan fixes, mods and active forum. I bought the DLC even before I had time to play to support them, so I expect some attention too. Thank you for your answer, I just wanted to share my opinion too.

To anyone else looking to start a new game in legendary-- there is a simple way to do this that is not very obvious. You do not need any tools or third-party utilities at all. All you have to do is create a new character set for legendary that starts in Eternal Embers. Increase your stats and skill points as you wish. You will start in Summer Palace. Quickly move to Dragon Cavern, get the equipment from the two chests, then continue a short distance to kill the tigers down the path. After you kill them, continue forward inside the building with the caravan and shop.

Get rid of that free equipment you picked up, because there is a major exp loss in using it. You will find two portals in this building. One will take you to Helos and the other will take you to Corinth. You can now play the game starting at either location as a level 70 on legendary.
