Shades Achievements

Do the 50/500 freed shades only count if they're released from the soul cages? Or do shades freed from the prison with the Warden's key also count towards the achievement?

Shades Achievement? Played through with quite a few characters and never knew about that, what is it, a badge or extra points? I always try to free all the shades, but just because I want to, not because I thought there was some sort of reward.

There are two Steam achievements related to freeing shades. "Fifty Shades" for freeing 50 of them and "Breaker of Chains" for freeing 500. From the sounds of it, you've probably already unlocked them without realizing it.

After 1h when i wrote, i get it, yes, i farm Hades Palace too. Info is confirmed.

You can free them in Hades or the Demon Camp. In the Demon Camp there are more shades than Hades.

Yes, i farm half in Camp, half in Palace. ~2hours of farming. After ~8-10 walkthroughts via 1-5 acts by different characters.

No need to rush it, You can farm Hades for items, and get the shades on the road. Maybe Hades will drop some sick lewt.
