Warlock build
I want to make a character that does a lot of DOT damage- bleed, poison. Should i make dex+int character that uses staffs or str+dex character that uses spears/knifes?

because no caster mastery exept nature has bleed or poison, there is not much sense in trying it as a "Warlock" if you want tons of bleed and posion. you choise is Rogue primary and nature second, and thats it. maybe if you are willing hunter has a few bleed picks too.

big problem i still see in this 2 dmg arts are that you have great efect or stand there with empty hands, depending on the enemy.

What makes you think that this a caster build? Im going to use a weapon to deliver poison/bleed/life leech damage. If my going int-dex route i also can use vitality damage staff.

Bleed and poison scale from dex.
Shadow has a lot of poison and bleed damage.
Spirit has -100% bleed/vitality/life leech debuff.
Undeads will get rekt by Spirit Bane, construct will get rekt by Disarm Traps.

You might want to try this staff instead of vitality staff when facing undead.

I play a diviner with max Necrosis, Spirit Bane and Psionic Touch and equip full of vitality damage bonus and killing undead still slow but killing other is fast except for construct with fully immunities to vitality damage (but rogue should have no problem against them construct).

My skill plan for Warlock build is this, but you gonna need 4 skill bonus to make Throwing Knife skill have 0 cd to replace ternion if using staff.

because you called it a Warlock, and by Definition a Warlock is a spellwielding guy. you will not find any Warlock that swings a sword or another melee weapon in classic literature.

The problem with the poison Warlock is that Necrosis needs close range and if you are trying to bleed out everyone, it's hard to benefit from close range while running around unless you just stand there and tank (which a Warlock is not good at).

Ternion can spread the poison around, which is definitely a positive. Only nature debuffs poison res and while spirit does bleed, so does Hunting. In fact, hunting debuffs bleeding for them and has two abilities to buff it for you. If you are set on poison/bleed I think Brigand is the way to go.

warlock is a spirit+rouge and it excells as caster build with ternion and knives combination, going dex+str (even though you can) is a choice of a bigger evil because of the high strength requirement for shield and the "archmage´s clasp" being too good of an item to give up on for its high amount of attack+cast speed, recharge, and trigger chance for (flat) all resistance reduction where your throwing knives and ternion will make the most out of this int.arm item.

Not all enemies can be damaged by vitality/poison/bleed either because of immunity or high absorption (especially constructs-devices) - i´d still recommend stay with an elemental base staff
at least as an alternate weapon or have some supplementary dmg type on your gear because of the "disarm trap" where you are only boosting your dmg output(+ % dmg to...) unlike the "spirit ward+bane" where you actually add another dmg type " + dmg to..." to your weapon + tk attacks

You will have a better way of getting the neccessary things by going for the int+dex to get you +4 points, resistances etc...

So as a Warlock, would you mind use pets to kill those filthy monsters that can't do any damage to you but also refuse to die to your DOT damage?

Since Ragnarok, the best weapon for dealing bleeding damage is a staff : https://www.tq-db.net/en/equipment/fafnir's-heart
The best weapon for dealing poison damage is a throwing weapon : https://www.tq-db.net/en/equipment/gorgon's-edge
Obviously, poison works best with an illusionist. Against construct and undead, the bleeding warlock must switch from Fafnir's to a second staff (preferably the staff of the Covenant).
Make your choice between those two weapons and you'll have your build.
