Depends on how you've built your character. Always watch him. He's pretty much guaranteed to start off with thorns (visible ones, so don't attack him during this phase) so spend the opener running to the mastery & battle shrines. Move as soon as he raises his arms or you'll be squashed by boulders. Main thing is to not hit him while thorns stick out of him.

If you've spread yourself too thin it'll be a major pain, but if you've actually got some effective skills it shouldn't be an issue.

I remember having a hard time on him in original game.

All the enemies + Typhon are quite lethal so once you beat him it'll even out a whole lot and be much easier again.

Remember he was the original end game boss so will/should be harder than anyone else you've faced. Patience is the key. Use the lightning bolt and run down the ramp, rinse and repeat until you bring him down. Alternatively, equip a bow, fire off a shot or two and retreat. It's slow, but usually sure providing you keep a eye out for those meteors that bounce down the ramp.

Ancestral horn and battle standard is your boss killer. Temporarily spec out of something else if you have to, but I'd want both of those on hand going forward anyway. If pushed, run to the stairs and wait for the 5 minute cooldown once or twice, but with the warriors knocking him down, you should be on pretty solid ground to fight Typhon.

Next time remember there are perks you can use... masteries to boost your stats and power. Also run around the outside making sure that your pet stays attacking Typhon (watch meteor shower) ;-)
Also remember to cast long lasting scroll like behemoth or maddened god.

One tip. If he gets too up close and personal, run down the stairs (not all of them, just
the ones at the top). He'll immediately return to the center when you do (at least on normal).
Bow or similar is highly recommended.

Watch out for those meteorites..even after they've landed but still are visible.

He is harder, if you are built for melee and have no ranged skills, but can still be done. Watch out for his thorns, dodge his nukes, dart back and hit once more before running on. Some scrolls are useful, as already mentioned.

If you want to add me we could try together a little later? i am stuck on Typhon as well. Maybe 2 of us will have an easier go of it.
