lvl 40 char do act 1-4 in normal

hello so i tried to test out if my lvl 40 starting char(now in epic) could get to act 1 and do all the quests, and it can which means you can get the rewards from all a1-a4 normal quests doesn't that seem a bit unfair compare to a lvl 1 starting char because the more skill points and that you are getting

I made a mod where you can lvl up instantly to lvl 85.

Not every one wants to play from lvl 1 thats why we got the acomplished hero, and it is fair as you still need to progress trough act 1 - act 4 and they eat up time.

what i mean is the acomplished hero start with the rewards from act 1-4 so basicly i am getting them again all the 6 skill points and that

How are you doing that? Normal portals are grayed out because you can't get back there. How have you don't it normally in the game?

My friend made a new lvl 1 char and made a portal to the start city ^^

That seems a bit unfair indeed since you are already rewarded with all those quests.

This is definitely an exploit of the game that the devs should fix. That being said, the solution is simple: Don't start a level 40 character and use multiplayer to go back to Helos.

Is it really an exploit since it's a single player game? Who's it going to hurt?

Also by going back you can play forward and get the Steam Achievements for those previous acts.

When you ticked to create Accomplish Hero, your character start with lvl40 at Act5, and have all rewards from quest that rewards skill/attribute spoints form previous Acts.

Also by going back you can play forward and get the Steam Achievements for those previous acts.

It's definitely an exploit since you are supposed to have gained all those rewards. It doesn't matter whether it's single player or not it must be fixed.

There is no need for Multiplayer. Just go in the Portal in Corinth that brings you back to Helos and redo all the Quests. I tried it. Created a lvl 40 Char went into the Portal and ran straight to Sparta to do the Quest that gives you 1 skill point. And i got that Skill Point ! So basically you can get double rewards from making a higher ranked char and then just go back to Helos as if you're starting just normally ... i dont know what to think of that

I did not know this. I think I will do this. I already got my Specialist achievement and now by doing this it will help for my no death run for all 3 difficulties and I'm really tired of Acts 1/2 so I can just breeze through those I'm guessing.

Just made a level 40 and I can't port to anywhere else from the port pad in Corinth. I guess that was changed at some point.

Just to let you know, if you go back and do those quests on Accomplished hero, your character is considered "illegitimate" if you care about that.

This is only possible if you're playing on the latest public beta branch of the game. If not, then the portal doesn't exist in Corinth. It's a bug anyway so I suspect it will be removed before the beta is fully released.

the Portal came with Eternal Embers Dlc no public beta and such. Its intended for you to go back....Cant say for the reward though should be patched out
