GD Defiler can't modify character?

I wanted to try out a few masteries, but I can't edit anything on the character with GD Defiler? Anyone get this working? Most options seem to be grayed out.

That is a program for Grim Dawn - its functionality is basically non-existent in TQ. I think all it can do is edit the amount of gold you have.
You are just going to have to try out those masteries by making a bunch of characters and getting them xp quickly with a trainer or something.

TQ Defiler still allows you to edit character stats and such, I'd suggest that program since it was made for Titan Quest. Although the pre-installed mods that came with the program doesn't work with AE

Thanks. Ended up just rerolling defense mastery instead and I'm already almost level 9. Loving it again, it's nice to bash things in the face with a shield.
