Clues about the Primerose Passage [Now Legit Accessible]

Hi,

Since i discovered that the wand dropped by Loki had no effect on Primerose Passage, i started to search...

deeper ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

More precisely in the Art Manager and Editor, AND i found out that there is an item the Primerose Key (which is a cute little frog), and drop from Surtr on NORMAL difficuly, as shown on the screen below.

HOWEVER !

While i was able to easly find the secret key from Hades in his loot table (which is 10% drop), Surtr loot tables don't show the fabled and precious frog, so maybe the item drop is shown somewhere else, or the devs forgot to put the drop on him.

Anyways, i'll farm that handsome fiery BOI for some time, if i manage to get the drop, i'll keep you informed.

Ok, now it's possible de access it with a secret quest.



So firstly, you need to get your hands on an epic helmet called 'Prosopon'. (i've farmed it at act V beginning, and was quite lucky to drop it from a normal chest surrounded by bandits)

After that, you have to go to Delphi, and speak with the guy near the Theatre, he will open you a secret door, you'll get three scrolls to enlight your path to the secret passage.

The scrolls actually are references to places from all over the world, after some hours of searching with a friend on Discord (and wikipedia lmao), we finally found out the four places the scrolls mentions.

- The first one is the easiest (with a bit of history search) : "A great lighthouse will be built by the children of Ptolemy where poor people have unstable walls."
I think this one actually references Alexandria, since the children of Ptolemy are known to have made a lot things in this city, including the world famous lighthouse.
In Titan Quest, the only city to have the seemingly same location is Rhakotis, moreover, there is a high concentration of poors in this city, so you have to go in the slums of the city, just north to the second foutain, you'll notice some wooden debris, you can destoys the ones on the center of the road, it will lead you to one of the part.

- The second one is kind of tricky : "The Tao is the way but sometimes one should explore the opposite direction."
At first my friend and me thinked that it was mentionning the temple where the Dragon Lich lays, but after searching this place and others, there was nothing to be found.
I remembered of the quest with the Tao nomad who got to the south of Binxan village, but since the Dragon Lich was on the straight north, the only choice was the marsh at the North-East, by going to this direction, you'll find a new cave with of course the second part.

- The third part is easy to find with some knowledge of the maps : "And Artemis is known to have a good influence on her twin.". I think the whole "Poet's jotting" and "Actor's note" are refering to the same part.
This one refers to Apollo, and luckily, there is two caves on Elysium called respectively "Artemis's cave" and "Apollo's cave", the first one have a sneaky lever near the end of the cave, and the second contains a big wooden door, leading to the third part after the lever has been activated.

- The recipe using the three items was quite hard to find : "The Eye sees a path in more than one chalice."
This one obviously refers to the Eye of the Gray ones, used by Medea and her big chalice to reveal the way to Epirus and Hades. So after taking the eye again on thoses old ladies, we managed to find out what to do by randomly exploring everything from the grove to the boss (at first we brought the eye to the altar the lich lmao) : When you go north to the grove, after the pass with the formicids, continue an go to the cave at the north-east of lamia camps, you'll find a new fountain at the end of the cave and see the recipe behind a wall, just click on the fountain, and the wall will open the way. (By the way the fountain should be renamed 'Chalice' or something, i don't think a fountain is an actual chalice xD)

Complete the formula with the small amount of 10 MILLIONS Gold, and you'll be able to visit the new (very beautiful by the way) secret area.

Wow, if you haven`t brought this up, i`d never know it`d be a problem. I`ve looked up a video and it clearly shows problems with ranged characters but my melee`s work fine every time, except for the fact that the loot can fall off screen. Any idea on why the problem occurs? Or is it that he`s simply invalnurable to ranged attacks on purpose?

The problem seems to be, you can`t pick up Primrose passage orb loot if she`s alive. At least I can`t. I have to disband her to open the orbs.

Yes, it can be done on Normal
The name of the NPC in Delphi is Anaxagoras, in the northwest.
If you wear Prosopon, he says "Oh, so you're an actor?" and opens the little building near him, where the hint scrolls are. [This done on Normal. I got Prosopon in Act V Land's End]

You need the expansion to do the quest. The Prosopon Helmet is the reward for the Troubled Son quest. Try doing it on normal difficulty. Otherwise, you would have to farm Surtr on normal.

the prosopone helmet drops out of the chest with guarantee near the actors - but only in legendary difficulty...Otherwise it`s a normal item that can drop afaik everywhere from act 5 normal...

I was able to get it done,However even tho SUPPOSEDLY once you have the Primrose Key any toon that's gotten that far can open the Primrose Passage,Except even tho I have two toons that have gotten that far only the original toon can open the passage whilst carrying the key.And going on the premise that perhaps the new toon needed her own key I gathered up the spell pieces and no you CANNOT Make a second key with the second toon.So as it stands only my 1st toon can open the passage.Why would this be?

I found a EPIC spear called Nagblade that doesn't seem to be too uncommon an item that easily kills Jimmy ' the only creature not easily dealt with (as I recall looks like a barrel)who drops the world on you,As for him so far the Rogue is the only class that seems to be able to deal with it and other artificial creature using Disarm Traps with that skill the toons much less damage Good Luck all
