Start at Glauberg. Go through the gate in the northwest; you'll enter an area called the Glauberg Outskirts (this is where the beekeeper is, by the way). Traverse this area to the next one, the Teutoburg Forest (a swampy area). Traverse this to finally get to an area called Externsteine (you'll know when you get there because you'll be leaving the swamp and will pass two of those beacons). This is the area where the stranded nixie is, but you'll not have to go that far. Instead, stay to your left upon entering Extersteine, and go a bit past the encampment with a few enemies.
You'll soon get to a next set of beacons. Just a few steps beyond that, there's a well-hidden path leading straight left (into the woods). Follow the path and get to a cave. This is where you'll find the third plate.
About that second plate, though - I'd appreciate it if someone helped!
For the collar : Normaly, the collar has to be given to the chieftain in Kauprang (the village who have troubles with Ichthians), so she will give you an item to finish the two merchents quest, but it's bigged and won't work most of the time, if you give the collar to the man who give you the quest to bring back his goat, it will give you a success, but delete the collar.
From Scandia, go out the gate past the Disheveled Survivor and the guy looking for Giesel. Keep heading basically north, and you'll enter an area called the Frozen River. Proceed north, heading towards Sithun (which is where the Shrine of Wodan is). You don't want to get to the Sithun area, though; a ways before the two beacons which signal the Sithun area, head west (left). You'll find an encampment of trolls and close to this, a cave. The second plate is in the cave.
Vadumee is also right about the fourth plate, by the way: it's in Zealandia, just before you take the ship to Scandia. It's in one of the caves there, I believe.
And Madrigal's right about the first plate: it's in one of the barrows in the Barrowlands, to the east of Scandia.
I think that all four plates accounted for :)
second plate is in Scandia, like the first plate. it is in a cave.
The end will come.
Thanks for the tip and for letting everyone know it is bugged (bigged)! I just dropped the Lupin Necklace in front of "Audhild - Chieftess of Kapangr" and picked it back up, and the exclamation mark above her turned yellow, and I was able to get the Audhild permit. Also, another tip to save anyone time in locating the Chieftess: portal to Scandia, then go west (to the left) to take the ship back to Kapangr. Be sure to kill the three wolfs that will likely follow you before you talk to the ship guy. The first time I did it, I just started talking to him, and then the wolves interrupted me, and the dialog box to go back to Kapangr went away, and I couldn't get it to pop back up again! I had to exit out of the game and do it all over again! :-(
BTW, I gave the permit to Ulfgrim, (the brother on the right). If you walk away until they are off screen, and then come back, Ulfgrim turns into a merchant where you can buy and sell things.
Also, I cloned the Lupin Necklace and went back to Laidulf (the sheep guy) and 'talked' to him, but it didn't trigger anything. I even dropped the necklace and tried that old trick, and it didn't do anything. I also exited out of the game completely and talked to him again, dropped the necklace, etc. but I couldn't get anything more out it! Well, I just realized that I did successfully bring back his sheep to him, which someone said this will only work if you fail to deliver the sheep to him successfully!
