Melee-oriented Spellbreaker (Warfare + Spirit) - need help with the skillbuild / stat distribution
So, I created a new character to try something completely different. And I have some questions to the TQ veterans about this build.

1) How should I distribute the stats? Is 2 str per 1 dex and 1 int OK? (I mean, 1 str + 1 dex on the even level-ups and 1 str + 1 int on the odd level-ups) Should I get any Health/Energy stats?
2) I suppose maxing the Deathchill Aura + Ravages of Time is the right thing to do for the melee character. Is it worth it to max the Necrosis and get some weapon with the health restoration on hit (x% of the damage dealt)?
3) Should I get more than 1 level for any summons? (Liche King, Outsider, Ancestral Horn)
4) What about the Dual Wield/Onslaught skill trees?
5) Is it worth it maxing out the Dark Covenant? I suppose maxing out the Unearthly Power is OK, right?
6) What about maxing out the Battle Standard + Triumph + Dodge Attack?
7) Are there any other skills that are worth mentioning?
8) Which item bonuses should I rely on?

1) Str : Dex - 1:2 or 1:3 (or 0 : 166 :P )
2) ofc, necrosis let you convert damage to health more effectively
3) Only Lich King (16-1-16-0)
4) Maximum
5) Max Covenant + Synergy
6) Dodge attack is not necessary, standard is the strongest skill in warfare mastery
7) Death Ward in late game, vision of death+battle rage at least 1 skillpoint
8) % damage converted to health in weapon

I did a basic Spellbreaker skill build here.[www.kirmiziperfect.com]
You will have quite some skillpoints left with this basic build, so:

Optional are Dual Wield, Dark Covenant and Liche King. This depends on your preference. If you want to use one of these, you have to max them completely, except Arcane Blast (don't put any points into that).

You can use War Wind as an AoE attack and War Horn + Doom Horn for stunning and weakening the enemies. (1 point in War Horn + Doom Horn is usually enough)

If you still have some points left in the end, you can put them into Ancestral Horn. With 10 points, 5 warriors will be summoned instead of only 3 warriors at 1 point.

For stats, go Str 2:1 Dex. This will get you to exactly 600 Str and 432 Dex, which allows you to equip all strength-based armor as well as some good dexterity-based gear like Stonebinder's Cuffs.

For items, -% Recharge can be quite useful for summoning Battle Standard (and the other pets) more frequently, but it is not a must-have. Your items should focus on increasing your DA/Dex for more survivability and Str/+% Physical Damage for more damage.

I beat legendary with a spellbreaker, so let me chime in.

invest just enough into str to wear stuff, everything else into dex. energy isnt needed, energy regen is more useful, but that can be fixed with a simple hecates crescent relic.

yes, but not only that. once you get to act 4 normal, immediately try to get an "of harrowing" weapon and socket it with an anubis relic. combined with necrosis, health reduction is VERY powerful.

yes, but only later on.

DW means you will lack the added survivability of a shield. depending on how you play, that might still work for you, but I highly recommend getting a good shield instead. also it frees up more points to put into other skills.
onslaught is still useful.

yes. though this is another skill with which I would wait.

batle standard is never a bad skill. the rest is also still good.

doom horn, doom horn, doom horn. spam it like crazy, its health reduction is buffed by necrosis and can have quite a drastic effect on large crowds which you should always recklessly run into.
a single point in war wind can also help to spread the "of harrowing" love, as it only reduces your physical damage.

a weapon with an "of harrowing" affix, preferrably a fast sword.
+skills, as +4 drastically increases for example your deathchill aura effect among many other skills.
optionally some cooldown reduction to spam doomhorn more and eventually get 100% dark covenant and battle standard uptime.
