Some quests are unable to be completed, objective achieved but no check mark.

The quest mentioned are these.

The Invocation.
Obtain Eye of Chaos: I already have it by defeating the boss but there is no checkmark and I cannot advance through the quest.

The High Priest's Request.
I have already obtain Staff of Khuffu, but coming back to Zazamankh does not advance the quest.

What to do? The game is so fun, but if I cannot advance then it is a bad game breaking bug.

Concerning the staff: Try dropping it and picking it up again. Same thing for the eye.

I have tried it. Does not work. These are all happens to all three of us playing online party.

This happened to me. Don't know if this will help, but here is the sequence of actions I took to cause and then solve the problem.

1. Get Staff
2. Talk to Imhotep ("Bring me the other item")
3. Put staff in storage
4. Get Eye
5. Take staff from storage
6. Talk to Imhotep ("Bring me the other item", can't progress)
7. Drop staff
8. Pick up staff
9. Talk to Imhotep (quest progresses)

This was done in one game session.

I've got this problem after online playing without "autoparty". To solve your problem - find online game after this quest

If that doesn't help you can try to delete the .que files with the newest creation date in the save folder of your characters. And always make sure to party up in MP games!

Many times when things do not work I reboot game, do over and quest progresses

Yep the staff was there & I didn't have to do steps 1-9
