best mastery for spear?

so hunting obviously has advantages to pierce dmg and the other passives and volley but i think i miss out to much from warfare as i dont have many cc skills and the physical dmg from warfare seems like it might outweigh the pierce from hunting my seconday mastery is most likely dream or defense. the reason i ask is i prefer the look of most of the spears to any of the 1 handers and have been wondering for a few years which tree suits the spear better in the long run

hunting + dream. even with AE this combinations is still very powerful for both spear and bow.

Defense let's you get more out of an shield you're carrying, and you get access to 3 more proc skills to go along with the 2 from Hunting.

Well...you can always go Hunting + Warfare :D Slayer's damage beats any other class damage with the right items, but it has two big disadvantages
1 - All of your damage is single target
2 - Slayer is a fckn glass cannon
As i said inability to attack several targets at once and lack of good cc or defensive skills will force you to pick your fights very carefully, but on the bright side your build will be finished aproximetly at lvl 55 so u will be able to max out Marksmanship tree and use bow efficienly.
