Alt tab reks my PC!!!!

WHY???

Why cant i alt and tab out? it puts my pc on a black screen and i cant even do anything :\

For anygame that was designed on Windows XP. Unless you have used a modification* that specifically states it fixes Alt-Tabing. DON'T ALT TAB.

General Rule that I've lived by for over a decade.


* : Programs, Software, Mod Pack Files, Patches ect...


(Borderlesss Windowed can usually be a simple fix.)

im on windows 10 only scrubs would not be on windows 10 at this stage in life?

i watch streams though so i like to alt tab when i listen something funny happening?

Stupid game locks up everytime i alt tab :\

Try playing TQ in borderless fullscreen mode.

I will try this now, im busy playing offline but with other people and when i alt tab it locks up the pc you cant even access task manager the game just takes over the pc and doesnt let you do anything until you sign off and back in to windows :\

Okay i tried this and it runs smooth but it fills my full desktop i cant even see half the buttons and it doesnt let me reduce the window size no matter what resolution i set it to? it doesnt snap to the screen size either so i need to hide my task bar and then i cant even see my exp bar in game.

Do i just alt enter if i wanna alt tab? is this the only option i have left? ive just thought of it but it seems meh in 2017 :\

TQ generally Alt+Tabs fine, but in very specific situations it doesn't. I have yet to actually figure out these situations, but they're not common enough to worry about in my experience. Don't Alt+Tab while paused is really all I can think of, and even that seems to work more often than not.

I have no idea what Swirls is talking about, I've rarely had Alt+Tab issues on NT5 or with NT5-designed games.

So, you want to still see parts of your desktop? Just play it in windowed mode then?

You cant play in windowed mode there is no option, its full screen or not fullscreen and in not full screen it still fills my screen like full screen.

If i alt+ enter it stats full screen but i can mostly alt tab with it not locking up my PC yet its a pain and i need re alt+enter to play the game

CTRL+ALT+DEL > Task Manager > Black Screen > ALT+Tab > Select Task Manager > WIN+X > Bottom Button AKA "Dekstop" > Mouse Cursor Over Task Bar > Wait a few > Desktop Appears... Profit

I dont seem to have problems alt tabbing if another window is open BEFORE-HAND, like Chrome or Task manager, But when no other windows are open is when the problem sometimes pops up.
