Why no mods for inventory space?
This game suffers greatly from the lack of inventory space, and even worse from the way it is transported between characters.

With the exeption of TQVault (which I'm not sure works with the steam version) I can't find any mods that increases inventory.

In a game over flowing with loot of all kinds, I can't believe the developers created such an anemic inventory system.

I'm suprised there aren't any mods that increase the transfer space and/or create additional space for holding loots.

Caravan Storage. In game. Lets you stash items outside of your personal inventory. A bit of a PITA to have to portal back and forth to Carvan Driver locations to retrieve and stash, but it increses the amount of stuff you can hold in any single game.
I'm fully aware of the caravan "Store your things with meeee!". It is not enough. Just the set pieces alone take up huge amounts of space. How are you supposed to save up set pieces (to get the full set) if you don't even have the space to hold them?

Don't hoard everything you find, and use TQVault for long term storage.

Or get into the Workshop and see if you can create a Mod that has the infinite inventory p space you want. And that actually works with the game and doesn;t crash it. *shrugs*

Could have something similar to the DIII, as "extra tabs".

"This game suffers greatly from the lack of inventory space"

So you mean to say you can't pick everything up, and instead of ignoring useless items, you complain about it?

It's not a matter of picking everything up. The problem is that you don't have enough space to store set-pieces and good loot for your other characters. Let's not forget charms, relics and recipes! You HAVE to store these if you want to have greater artifacts, let alone divine ones!

But sure, keep picking up those red herrings.

I put all charms, relics, and recipies in the expanded caravan that I have. All set-pieces go in the transfer slot. I don't pick up whites, rarely yellows unless my gear sucks at the time. Never had the need to complain because I am fully capable of going back to town and selling things I won't use, thanks to the portal stone. It's fast, easy, and takes less time than creating a forum post.

How many charms and relics do you have? There are over 50 different charms & relics in the game, and each different difficulty settings have their own ones. So over 150. How many divine artifacts have you made? Let's use an example: Blood of Ares artifact requires 3 components to build: Lionheart, Fury of the Ages and epic Achilles relic. Lionheart requires Molten Orb, Tome of Transfiguration and Raven's Shadow while Fury of the Ages requries Amber Flask, Cinderbolt and normal Hector relic. Molten Orb requires normal Prometheus relic, normal boar hide charm and normal rigid carapace charm. Tome of Transfiguration requires epic Horus relic, epic vile echor charm and a greater scroll of vamprism. Raven's Shadow requires epic Archimedes relic, epic turtle shell charm and greater scroll of the djinn. Amber Flask requires normal Artemis relic, normal pristine plummage charm and normal turtle shell charm. Cinderbolt requires normal Amun-Ra relic, normal hag's skin charm and normal rigid carpace charm. Now do the math how many inventory slots you need for this one artifact. This isn't the only divine artifact in the game, far from it.

...You might want to play further than halfway through act 1 on normal before saying anything about the caravan's inventory size...

Set pieces alone take up many character's space. All useless items have long been vendored. This is a loot grab game. It has loot. Lots of loot... and little place to put it. Try again.

I can't tell if you guys are kidding, or honestly that retarded. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Either way, feels good not having to ♥♥♥♥♥ on the forums about an easily avoided problem.

easily avoided problem? lol? are you mental? clearly a noob. Relics and charms alone use up a whole 1.5 full caravan spaces let alone recipes and completec artifacts. Then we go over to set pieces and useful legendaries for other characters and youll find yourself at 4 full caravans if not more

that seems to apply more to you than anyone else in this whole thread.
you just went through act 1 normal. of course you have barely anything yet.
but if you play through all 4 acts on all 3 difficulties and most importantly FARM for items, you will quickly run out of inventory space. sure, you can throw away anything your current character doesnt need right at that moment, but then you are missing the point of the whole game.

good, come back once you learned a little.
or even better, dont.

Yeah he hasn't a clue. Just a troll. Not contributing at all. It is common knowledge that this game is inventory challenged. TQ vault was created because of this.
Landank Feb 3, 2017 @ 8:45pm
Post a screenshot then, please. I played this game religiously on CD, then, when AE game out I had to buy it.

Not once, in the 500 hours I have played this game have I once, had inventory trouble.

So please, post a screenshot of all the useless ♥♥♥♥ you're putting in your inventory. Because I honest to god cant even fathom why you're having such a difficult time managing your inventory.

Call me a troll, whatever you like. But I'm not the one crying about an easily avoidable problem.

If you want a mod so badly because you're incapable of doing such a simple thing, than make it yourself. This is all quite entertaining to read.

I was 10 years old when this game came out. I got it as a gift.

10 year old me could figure out "hey, I don't need to pick up every white and yellow that drops. In fact, unless I plan on selling them, they're completely useless".

Is there something that has changed in AE regarding loot that I haven't found yet? Because I am truly confused as to why this is an issue.
