That is the most likely cause. This game uses live action video in parts and it's hard to get high quality video using high compression.
Hitman - 50 GB
Tom Clancy’s The Division - 40 GB
Hmmm, I think I might've only remembered the compressed download sizes for my games haha.
1TB SSD not gonna hold it though, might have to RAID 10 some HDDs :P
Oh, well never mind then. LOL
I can't say why Quantum Break takes up as much as it does, but it doesn't really matter. There's nothing anyone can do about it and games today does tend to be big - and they're not getting smaller either.
Like I said, either remove other games if you're short on space or purchase the retail copy if your connection is slow. Problem solved.
I still remember people complaining when games became larger then 1 gig. And when they topped out over 10 gigs... oh my god.
As technology advances the size in which games require will go up. Regardless of the length of the game itself.
The Evil Within... over 50 gigs. DOOM, over 60. BioShock Infinite with it's DLC... over 40. Last few Call of Duty titles... over 50 to 60.
It's really not surprising that games these days require more space. It really should be expected at this point.
gta 5: 66gb+
mad max: 30gb+
and almost every game else, also atleast 25gb+,so why are you even complaining? Is that big of a problem to wait 1 more hour to downloadthe game?
