I noticed that during this the game not uses more than 1GB of RAM and no more than 25% of processing capacity.
Im trying to run the game on a Windows 7, with an AMD Radeon R9, other specs are the recommended ones.
Something similar happend to me with no man skys and the only solution that worked was a patch...
My problem is fixed now - nine downloadfiles were corrupt downloaded from Steam (30GB of the +70). Try the proof&repair option of the steam client. Worked out for my installation.
For god sake Remedy, do something, You had about ... more than 2 weeks to fix it. OMG.
To make sure you've got at least one solid patch with a good number of fixes in it could, at the very least, take one month from first finding the bug (and making it reoccur multiple times to get the steps down that causes it) to releasing a public patch.
I fixed it by trying to reinstall Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015.
While it was already listed in my software centre I removed it and tried to install again. Installation failed and after some research I discovered that it needs some recent windows updates. Installing updates and then VC++ Redistributable fixed the problem
Hell... after some new windows uptade and a power fail the game started to work. Whatever
