I can't even watch the damn episodes they stop to buffer so much.

I can watch a 4k 60fps video on youtube no problem. Netflix Ultra HD? No sweat. But not this ♥♥♥♥!

This is a huge problem Remedy.

They also need to be called out for not allowing the PC user to download all the live action scenes. The xbox console people HAVE had the option FOR years, so does the eye patch version.

By the way THEY = Microsoft.

I guess I'd better get done watching all the cutscenes before they shut off the service and a goodly chunk of the game becomes unavailable.

Definitely an abyss-tier design decision.

I'm also rather pissed off about this. I've got 100Mbps connection and can easily stream 4K YouTube, yet can't get through a single episode without MULTIPLE 'content buffering' errors.

Surely someone has managed to find a way to download the streams... SURELY!!!

Yup. I can't read the quantum ripple files either because i can't even get past the "previously on" segment when i try to stream the episodes.

First two episodes worked fine, then they stopped.

I gave up on the streaming and I have a 1.5Gps connection. Luckily the episodes are on youtube to I'm watching them on there.

Same problem! 1gbit up and down. Same connection as 5 years ago when I first played the game, but I don't remember having these problems in 2018....weird...also why stream the videos and not just have them as local video files in the game folder??? it's not like they have such a great video and sound quality...would have taken only a few more GB

Because Microsoft are wretchedly incompetent at publishing games the same as they are at hosting video streaming and maintaining operating systems. :-(

Can we lower the quality? I don't really need 4K if it's buffering all the time. 1080 is enough if it plays smoothly.

Hmm, are all people having issues on AMD graphics? Worked fine on nvidia 2060 weaker than new AMD 6800...

No, I'm on NVidia (4090) and the streaming is broken for me as well.

It's not the GPU or drivers, it is Microsoft and Azure's abject incompetence and inability to care about anything they sell, let alone actually fix it, in every single thing they do these days.

4090 here too along with a 300 Mbps connection which may not be the fastest out there but is more than fast enough to watch 4k videos etc.

Very annoying having constant buffering
