I'll await this with interest, thanks for the research. I use Nvidia Inspector a lot so feel free to post the fix - it's easy enough to reverse the modification anyway if it doesn't work - although 3 hours sounds rather convincing. This is majorly what's stopping me playing the game tbh. Thanks. If you want to add me as a friend on this if you don't want to go overly public with the fix also feel free.
Add qb exe to batman arkhum origins profile. This is the fastest and easiest way as so many undefined flags to set otherwise.
change its SLI bits (DX11) to 0x080002F5. Then, press on the magnifier icon in order to reveal NVIDIA's Undefined options. Search for 0x00A0694B and set it to 0x00000001
In SLI section the only 2 you want to set are
1.predifined number of gpus... SLI_PREDEFINED_GPU_COUNT_DX10_FOUR
2.nvidia redifined SLI mode directx 10.....SLI_PREDEFINED_MODE_DX10_FORCE_AFR
All the other sli settings in this section set to auto selct.
Now set to max performance and threaded optimization on
Disclamer! This 100% works for me and my hardware. Hopefully this will also work for everyone but I only have my own PC to test on.
Tested this, and I can confirm, astonishingly, that it works. Initially it loads up in a complete mess, but after about 10 seconds it normalises and does appear to be using both cards properly. I'll run more tests and properly have a look, but for now I say stunning work sir and very well done indeed. My thanks to you.
How did the sli break in other games? I also get a boost un watchdogs 2 using this profile.
We cursed it by praising it/you!
Cannot find 0x080002F5, closest option is 0x080002F6 (Metro: Last Light)
suggestions?
Since 2017 I did not touch this game as I was kinda sick that I could not play it @4K, BUT it seems some clever users have found a SLi configuration that work!!!
No, I'm not trolling here, really, I have almost 100% utilization of both my 1080 GTX, but still, you'll really want to turn down some settings as even with 2 of those graphics cards running @ almost 100%, you can't get 60 FPS @4K in Ultra/High...
So, first go there, and put fav this site as it is the best source for good SLi profiles: https://www.forum-3dcenter.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=509912
Then, clik on the link for Quantum Break, this will lead you to the post of the user having found the SLi bits and other unknown bits.
There you can download its profile for Quantum Break, and import it yourself to your drivers using NVidia Profile Inspector.
Now, ingame, you want to turn down:
Volumetric lighting to "High"
Shadow Resolution to "Medium"
Shadow Filtering to "Medium"
Effects Quality to "Medium"
ScreenSpace Reflections to "Medium"
Turn SSAO "OFF" (yeah I know it sucks but it is a performance hog...)
Even with those settings turned a bit down, the game still looks fine.
Please note you'll get a little stuttering (as always with SLi and the need for synchronization between cards) and input lag with the mouse, so... better stick to a XBOX controller.
Running latest current drivers here: 436.30
So, for Remedy, they don't give a f***ing sh*t about people that have BOUGHT their damn game.
Saying that their engine is not optimized is a understatement, please check "Quantum Break" AND "Control" performance on consoles... it's just sad... And we're talking about console version here, so versions that should ALWAYS maintain the target 30 FPS mark...
From now on I won't never ever buy a Remedy game in the future.
As for NVidia, it's the same, they could have worked (heck even WITH Remedy) on finding a working SLi profile... but no, they better rip customers off by selling 2080Ti's over 1000$ that is neither able to run this game @4K 60FPS with all options cranked up...
It's pathetic... anyway, let's move on...

Does it work with this game is my question.
You probably mean well, but the point of SLI is to run the game at max settings with preferably 4k resolution, so I dont know what you're getting at.
