Optimal settings recommendations
I'm running this game on a mid range system of the time and I'm looking for settings to get stable performance. Any way to lock fps to 60 without locking my monitors refresh rate? I guess I'm looking for any tips because currently playing is not comfortable, thanks in advance.

My specs are in my profile

Volumetric lights is a major fps hit if ultra and it's the first I would lower. AA also can have big impact. Then maybe shadows down a bit. Make sure "Upscaling" is ON as it can otherwise eat your fps like 50%. OFF seems to give lot less blurry image but is very heavy (720p vs 4K). Also no shame trying in-game 30 fps lock as it was originally build that way for xbox.

Final note: the beginning of the game is quite heavy. Area where actual gameplay starts and especially the "time machine" chamber. Good place to try graphical settings.

Thank you, placing a 60fps cap combined with upscaling did the trick mostly. Afterwards I was able to turn on/up all the settings with the only exception being AA, Volumetric Lighting and Shadow Resolution which I turned off/down to give my system more overhead to keep things smooth.
