Streaming service? Are you serious?
Like... who's idea was this? Who even thought this was a remotely decent idea? What's the problem with just downloading the videos like... every other game? So I can, uhh... you know, watch them offline? I don't understand, seriosuly. What do they even get from this?

And it's not even a good streaming service, it's always constantly buffering, making it impossible to watch. I'm not even angry, I'm just... surprised...

It's that or downloading 75 GB extra stuff.

Or maybe both? Like the Xbox version

They could add it as a DLC. I would have downloaded these already.

I didn't even notice it was streaming, and I only have like a 100/30 mbit line. Rather have it streamed than this game taking up 150GB of my precious ssd space.

Though I can see how in nations with ♥♥♥♥ internet this becomes a problem. Though downloading 150GB would be as much as a burden i'd wager.

Why couldn't it be an option to download, but still keeping them online?

Yeah it'd have been nice to have the option. Especially when playing this in countries with shoddy internet.

I have 100 / 100 internet and during high speed stuff in the tv show the framerate seems off and it seems to buffer. Maybe it was a high load on servers or do not know but I would prefer to download the content.

You can watch cutscenes on YouTube or use one of "YouTube downloaders" software (you can find free YouTube Downloaders too) to download them, and later watch them even without an Internet connection.

I guess, I have to consider this next time Remedy comes out with a game.

I think this is protection from piracy - if you pirate the game you won't understand 50 percent of plot. I'm afraid tho, it means someday Microsoft will shut down the servers

It seems like they already did! Either that, or they are complete garbage. I just started watching them on Youtube. It's actually better this way anyway, as I can watch it while I do other things and skip and pause.

Well, +100GB are about to become the new norm for AAA, it wouldn't hurt to just let us download the whole thing at this point.

playing the game for the first time this week, and I've had zero issues with the videos - except a few seconds of buffering in total. I had no idea they were being streamed, I assumed I d/l them...

I was using Youtube to play the videos... Then, I just stopped playing the game altogether... The game is just pretty bad in my opinion.

I did not have experienced the same problems either. I even did not have seen that "buffering" screen thing some people were experiencing. However, keep in mind that it is really dependent of the transfer speed between your modem and the server. Not everyone has a good and steady connection.
