Video Streaming Issues

I bought the game earlier in the week and made it through the first act live video without any streaming issues. However, in the last couple of days I've been unable to watch any videos without them failing pretty quickly. Upon testing my Internet outside of the game there appears to be nothing wrong with it.

Is anybody else experiencing issues streaming the videos over the last few days?

It's supposed to stream a lower quality video if your connection cannot do 4K. Unfortunately the streaming service is useless regardless so I had to watch the videos on youtube (ignoring the fact that some scenes are supposed to be specific to your play choices).

I thought it was kind of stupid to force streaming. At least give people the option to download the video entirely before it starts playing.

What's strange is that you can actually download all the videos on the console version. Had no idea you couldn't do that on PC.

75GB for the 1080p "Quantum Break Episode Pack" for XBox One. 4K version for PC, if it were available, would probably be 3-4x that.

wouldn't it help if you lowered your resolution of the game to 1080P so it would stream in 1080P ? no idea if it would help

I have unable to stream error at the moment but I'm using the UWP version, not the Steam one. Beginning to suspect Microsoft has abandoned support for episode streaming.

Hence my negative review for a game shortly after release that sucked back then, and still sucks now. I had issues streaming the vids on release, and I predicted that the issue would only get worse. Because in what world does it make sense to lock players into only being able to stream game content.. when your internet goes out, when their service isn't available, or you just have terrible internet? Dumb idea. Oh how nice.
