Can't watch streamed live-action part of the game
Hi!

I've bought this game couple of days ago. Got to the first live-action streamed part (episode) but any attempt to watch it ends up with error screen saying
Unable to stream
We are unable to connect to the streaming service.

Can anyone check at the moment if can watch any of the episodes (first one preferably)? Just to confirm/deny if "it's just you - works for me".

Works for me, all the episodes can not be watched. Besides, my PC system is WIN7.

Sooo.. Is streaming working for you or not, because there's a contradiction in your sentence.

yeah this is some seriously flawed game design i cant even watch them because i just get bex64 stackhash errors and theres no way in hell im installing ie11 in a million years its pure junk tech, in this day and age we should be able to download them theres plenty of games that blow this out of the water in terms of how much hdd space needed

Same for me. OS is Windows 10 x64, Internet channel wide enough to stream video (about 60Mbps), firewall said nothing about this game goes for Internet connection. I suppose developers of the game don't read this.

For me it was ESET Smart Security, which even with firewall turned off blocked network traffic over 80 port for apps that are not browsers.

I solved the issue. Yeah, it was definitely my ESET SmartSec. Just switched firewall to learning mode (or how it called in English) and streamed live action goes just as planned.

I get this error message and I'm using default Windows 10 firewall and Quantum Break shows it is set to allow traffic through in the Firewall settings. Has Microsoft basically abandoned the streaming service?

Based on what other threads have said, yes, this seems to be the case.

Steam really should pull this game from being purchased at this point as it is now broken no matter what your definition of broken is.

Funny, the first video ran just fine for me a couple days ago. It stuttered in the middle because my connection hiccuped, but it resumed just fine when I hit play.

I worried about this after game launch, what happens when they stop providing the streaming service for this game and you lose over half the game? Gotta love it.

Are you sure it wasn't a time studder? Haha. In all seriousness, the TV show integration was a major fail when the rendered cutscenes were doing just fine. My solution to this situation is much easier. When you come to a cut scene, pull it up in YouTube. It will stream better and cost less data. Problem solved. Just make sure to select the proper choice (remember, each episode had two choices so there are two episode ones etc). Hope this helps others enjoy this otherwise good game.
