[Fixed] Game just won't launch.

Edit: Closed down some programs that were running and I'm not having anymore issues at the moment.

Windows 10 (64)
1080ti
I7-7700k
16gb Ram

Upon first launch of the game it never does the typical installing 1 of 4 that steam games do. I verified integrity, installed the C++'s manually, uninstalled nvidia drivers.

I got it to launch twice but each time I had to reinstall the C++ and reboot my system then it would run, but if I closed out it wouldn't start again and had to reinstall those and reboot. Now it won't launch even after installing/uninstalling the C++.

I uninstalled the game and downloaded again which didn't help.

I can't get the game to run, either... tried clean nVidia driver install, re-install C++... nothing works. I'm also having issues trying to launch UPlay and so a Windows 10 rebuild may be on the cards.... so frustrating! I also do not get the usual installing 1 of 4 ... very odd

I got it working with no issues. I have a Strix 270e mobo. I turned off sonic studio, ai suite, ez updater and that seemed to do it. I've yet to test and see actually which program was the issue.

So try closing some programs in your system tray and see if that does it.

Yeah, just replied in the main thread at the top of these discussions... I have a ROG Strix Z270G and quitting Sonc Studio 3 DOES WORK!!! :) - very very odd, but I'm certainly thankful to you guys that worked this out!

Did you install the x64 and x86 redist applications yet?
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\QuantumBreak\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2015

As you see, Sonic Studio was the culprit for us after that.
